Following of cooper complexation with humic acids by fluorescence method
Hladík, Tomáš ; Pospíšilová, Ľubica (referee) ; Fasurová, Naděžda (advisor)
Humic acids have high ability to form stable complexes with copper ions, which influences their toxicity in environment. Fluorescent properties of sodium salt of humic acid, humate, isolated from South Moravian lignite, and its complexation behaviour with copper ions were investigated using emission, excitation and synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy. Both fluorescence emission and synchronous fluorescence spectra showed that humate form complex with copper since fluorescence intensity was quenched upon addition of copper ions to the humate samples. The aim of the diploma thesis was to found applicable ion concentration to observation fluorescence quenching and to determine the main fluorophore, which is affected by complexation through the use of synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy.

The work of Franz Preiss in the context of contemporaneous sculpture
Mazačová, Kateřina ; Horyna, Martin (advisor) ; Hladík, Tomáš (referee)
The submitted thesis aims to contribute to the study of the 17th and 18th century Bohemian sculpture. It is devoted to Franz Preiss, a remarkable artist of the early High Baroque period of Prague sculpture. The most extensive part of the thesis is the Catalogue. The author seeks to present a complete overview of works attributed to Preiss and his workshop by any source. The Catalogue is divided into four sections titled: A) Preiss's recorded works - B) Works attributed to Preiss on the basis of stylistic analysis - C) Disputable works - D) Works mistakenly attributed to Preiss. Within each section, individual items are presented in chronological order. Every item is accompanied by facts about the creation of the particular work and by iconographic interpretation, which is followed by the pivotal part - a detailed formal analysis of the work as well as a comparison with works listed under other catalogue items, and concluded by a hypothesis on the work's authorship. To facilitate the reader's understanding of her descriptions, the author includes extensive photo documentation, made for the main part by her husband Mgr. Vít Mazač. The Catalogue and the Photo Appendix are preceded by a brief text. Following the Preface and the Introduction, the reader gets acquainted with recorded facts about the sculptor's...
Presentation layer and interface for a system for information integration and search
Hladík, Tomáš ; Nečaský, Martin (advisor) ; Peška, Ladislav (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyse, design and implement a system to present business objects. These objects are accessible through an existing RESTful API of an integration system. The system combines various sources and publishes them together with information how these data are stored. The task of the thesis is to create data views that meet the following requirements - they can react to metadata changes, they support multiple output formats and these views can be customized. The application should be easily modifiable and connectable to already existing web systems.

St. Agnes of Bohemia - Life and Iconography of the Saint in Medieval and Baroque Art
Dytrtová, Anežka ; Hladík, Tomáš (advisor) ; Vlnas, Vít (referee)
Bachelor's thesis St. Agnes of Bohemia - Life and Iconography of the Saint in Medieval and Baroque Art is oriented both on life, efforts and aims of this Saint and on her depictions in progress of the middle Age and Baroque period. In 2011 was the 800years anniversary of her birth and by this occasion many actions took places. This thesis wants to unify all available information and give complex picture of Agnes both in her times and in the time after her death. In this complex belong St. Hedwig of Silesia and St. Elisabeth of Hungary too. All of those three Saints had similar ideals, so they should be mentioned in context. This thesis could be used as source of information about Saints, types of depicting and its changes. I used most secondary literature and catalogs of expositions to this topic. I confronted various authors to select the right information and conclusions.
Creation of a dataset containing publications of Charles University according to the Linked Data principles
Hladík, Tomáš ; Klímek, Jakub (advisor) ; Knap, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to create a dataset about publications of Charles University, that will be friendlier for computer processing and subsequent visualization. There is already existing official application, which includes every publication issued by Charles University, nevertheless the application does not work perfectly because of the large amount of data. Information has been gained through exports in XML, further the data has been processed into the desired format, over which we can query much faster than it is in the official application. The process has been made by using programming language Java. We engage Charles University into the Linked Universities project, which brings together universities providing data in a computer-friendlier format.
