Electronics for Scintillator Detector Readout and Coaxial RF Line for VITO Beamline at ISOLDE Facility at CERN
Advanced Parser Generators
Havranek, Daniel ; Kövári, Adam (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with parser generation by tools that use advanced parsing techniques. These techniques are compared from both theoretical and practical point of view. The GNU Bison tool, which uses the LALR(1) method and Generalized LR method, and the ANTLR tool, which uses the more modern ALL(*) method, are examined in detail. To compare the effectiveness of these tools, a parser for a fictional programming language is implemented using them to demonstrate the strengths and weaknesses of each approach. As the results, GNU Bison is much more powerful, but the ANTLR outweighs it in terms of implementation friendliness and functionality. The results of this thesis can help deciding which approach or tool to choose when implementing a parser.
Weight sensing of beehives with IoT connectivity
Havránek, Daniel ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Kufa, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to make a device that can measure some beehive parameters, that can inform you about the conditions in a beehive. These parameters are beehive weight, inner and ambient temperature, inner and ambient humidity and air pressure. The device allows to send the measured data wirelessly through the 2G network and interpret the results in appropriate way. Low power consumption is desirable due to working without the reach of the distribution network.

This paper focuses on designing a device that can measure some beehive parameters, that can inform users about the conditions in a beehive. These parameters are beehive weight, internal and ambient temperature, internal and ambient humidity, and air pressure. The device allows sending the measured data wirelessly through the GSM network and interpreting the results in appropriate way. Low power consumption is desirable due to working without the reach of the distribution network.
