Use of Montessori Pedagogy in a Primary School

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe in detail and analyze the reformatory pedagogy of Maria Mantessori and to compare it with the traditional pedagogy in the areas, in which these two movements differ most significantly. Then this thesis is aimed at describing individual methods of teaching from the point of view of traditional and alternative school, mainly aimed at foreign languages teaching. This comparison is described in order to prove or disprove the main thesis research question, which observes the effectivity of using Montessori teching methods in the context of a traditional school. To reach the relevant answer to the main research question, research methods such as observation and then experiment, based on the observation outcomes, are employed..
