Archaeo-geophysical survey of ditch enclosures in Kyjov I
Hašek, Vladimír ; Kovárník, J. ; Tomešek, J.
A site with two ditch enclosures by an aerial survey approximately 1000 - 1200 meters due south-west from the town Kyjov. The actual geophysical survey of the site focused on an area of some 180 x 150 m; a Canadian gradiometer OVERHAUSER GSM-19 (sensitivity 0,01 nT/m) continuous data acquisition. Our results showed that this structure includes two ditches of different sizes, filed with dark soil with higher magnetic susceptibility. Finds from this site include mostly fragment of pottery from Early Bronze Age. We also list a tool made of speckled silicate - the finds can be specified as the classical phase of Únětice culture.

Geophysical survey and archaeological excavation in northern-eastern part of Tábor
Hašek, Vladimír ; Krajíc, R.
Archaeological excavation of Tržní náměstí (Market Square) in Tábor combined with an archaeogeophysical survey and prospect holes allowed the archaeologists to outline development of settlement in this part of Tábor from prehistory (Hallstatt Period) to industrialization (from 13th century buildings, walls, cultural layers, from 15th century new finds of the Hussite town - buildings, cultural layers, most of other relics date back to the Thirty Yers War - cultural layers, buildings).

By means of geophysical radar measurement in Tišnov Cistercian Church were localized a number of crypts. Some of this vaults could infer us about the burial place of the cathedral promoter Constance (the widow of king Přemysl Otakar I.).
Geological Survey and Archaeogeophysical Prospection at Historical Silver Mining Sites Located in Routes of Linear Buildings in the Czech Republic
Hašek, Vladimír ; Krajíc, R. ; Ondra, K.
Projected roads in the Czech Republic often cross areas affected by previous intensive mining of precious metals (gold, silver), the ground and underground mining has left behing a range of relics in form of various morphological depressions, occasionally folloved by relict of other objects linked to mining. In order to prevent emergence situations a complex of geophysical methods and drilling works is employed. This complex is an integral part of both geological research and rescue archeological research in these region. In order to demonstrate the practical usage of the disciplines mentioned above, we describe the prospection of highway route D between Mezno and Chotoviny in Tábor district, and ringroad I/38 in Jihlava.

Geophysical methods exerted in complex with other scientific branches more than 25 at archaeological research of Czech Republic brought series of positive findings for solving of various tasks from paleolith to top medieval. Nondestructive Surveying Methods Applied at the Construction Site 0136, Highway D1 Říkovice - Přerov
Hašek, Vladimír ; Kovárník, J. ; Ondra, K.
A combination of archaeological data, and aerial and geophysical surveying over construction site 0136 Říkovice - Přerov (Highway D 1) has yielded a considerable amount of information, which suggest a relatively dense inhabitation especialy in the northern part of the construction site (right terrace in the valley of Bečva River in the vicinity of Přerov), and rather scarce indications in the southern part. An efficient combination of different methods brought about background information sufficient to subsequently excavate specific areas, which contributed significantly to reducing the costs and time necessary to complete the archaeological research.
