Strings of Tennis rackets
Malý, Michal ; Hanusová, Petra (referee) ; Molliková, Eva (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis concerns strings of the tennis rackets. It focuses on types of materials which are used during manufacturing of various types of fibre strings. Moreover, it focuses on structural kinds of strings and their surface alteration. All these subjects mention their characteristics, which conclude the technology and material that is available for the final strings. It closely affects the game and the suitability for particular advanced levels of the players. It also summarises the historic development of the string of the tennis rackets. This thesis closely analyses the manufacturing process of the natural and synthetic strings, from beginning to the final form of the string. Furthermore, it examines the equipment designed for stringing of the tennis racket and the process and the technology needed for the stringing itself. Moreover, it focuses on the differences during the game associated with the strings of the tennis racket. The thesis is dealing with comparison of the strings that are designed to different racket sports, mainly concerning on withstanding of tension and impact.
The material base of trial bicycles
Debs, Martin ; Hanusová, Petra (referee) ; Jan, Vít (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the material analysis of trial bicycle parts. The main aim is the summary of materials and technologies used in construction of these bicycles, exploiting knowledge of material microstructure theory, both in theoretical and practical sections of the thesis. To attain the aims, it was necessary to perform a proper metallographic specimen preparation. These specimens allowed to observe a material microstructure of various bicycle parts and demonstrate the use of metallographic techniques for determining the type of the used materials and applied processing technologies. Comprehensive metallographic analysis proved the use of materials in ordinary quality and ordinary technological processes. Subsequently we documented and explicated various defects in microstructure of the examined parts.
Galvanizing of steel components
Turkovič, Matúš ; Hanusová, Petra (referee) ; Zelený, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with galvanic, i.e. electrochemical plating. It is concerned with chemical and physical principles that accompanying plating followed by general overview of metal coatings as well as describes the process of their application. In detail, it is focused on nickel coatings. Part of the work is focused also on practical deposition of such coatings on steel samples as well as on study of effects of plating conditions on prepared coatings.
In-situ Synthesised Intermetallic Compounds in Powder Materials
Hanusová, Petra ; Novák, Pavel (referee) ; Skotnicová, Kateřina (referee) ; Dlouhý, Ivo (advisor)
The mechanical treatment of solids is one of the most common and widely used operations. The volume of solids subjected to chemical treatment is very large too. Therefore, combining these two ways into one seems to be a logical solution. This method is called the mechanochemical processing of materials. Processing materials in this way has many advantages. On the one hand, this processing is economically as well as technologically feasible. Even the materials that not react together in conventional way can be prepare in this way. The mechanochemistry/mechanochemical synthesis utilizes the mechanical energy to activate chemical reactions and structural changes. The aluminothermic reduction reactions induced by the high – energy ball milling are gaining importance because of the potential applications like the synthesis of microcrystalline and nanocrystalline in – situ metal matrix composites. The mechanical activation of the chemical reactions by high energy ball milling often changes the reaction mechanism and produces metastable materials. Changes of reaction mechanisms during mechanical alloying on four different systems were studied. The system was based on this composition: Al - B2O3 - X (X = C, Ti, Nb, Cr). The possibility of another in – situ reactions during spark plasma sintering process (SPS) was also investigated. All systems were mechanically alloyed under the same conditions. After alloying, on each system scanning electron microscopy was performed and qualitative and quantitative analysis was performed using X-ray diffraction. The indentation hardness and the indentation modulus of elasticity were evaluated using nanoindentation. All analyzes were performed after mechanical alloying as well as SPS and the results were compared to each other. Based on the results, a change of reaction mechanisms was proposed for all systems. It has been found that metal matrix composites are formed and, when chromium is used, hybrid composite material reinforced with intermetallic phase and aluminum borate has been developed.
Gap options (třída Kapitána Jaroše, Brno, CZ)
Hanušová, Petra ; Widholmová, Alžběta (referee) ; Toman, Radek (advisor)
The inner block behind the Brno City Theatre is special for its liveliness. There are several services, parking and, above all, a lot of people shorten their journey here every day - the gap is not waiting to be filled, it serves more as a portal. In the design I am working with a site that is adjacent to the theatre's blind wall and currently serves only for parking. I am proposing housing elevated above the retained parking lot, working with the idea of neighborhood and relationships. I surround the housing with greenery and adapt the character of the block to pedestrians.

Alkaloids of Amaryllidaceae family: isolation, structural identification, biological activity. III
Hanusová, Petra ; Cahlíková, Lucie (advisor) ; Chlebek, Jakub (referee)
Hanusová P.: Alkaloids of Amaryllidaceae family: isolation, structural identification, biological activity. III. Diploma thesis, Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Department of Pharmaceutical Botany and Ecology, Hradec Králové, 2017. For phytochemical study was selected plant cultivar Narcissus cv. PROFESSOR EINSTEIN. The aim of the work was to isolate Amaryllidaceae alkaloids in pure form and screening of their biological activities. Summary alkaloidal extract was prepared from 34 kg of fresh bulbs and separated by column chromatography. Preparative TLC and crystallization were used for the isolation of substances from subfraction 6/1. Two pure alkaloids of galanthamine structural type were obtained. The alkaloids were identified based on their MS, NMR analysis and optical rotation as narwedine and lycoraminone. Lycoraminone has been isolated for the first time from natural source. Both substances were tested for their acetylcholinesterase, butyrylcholinestease and prolyl oligopeptidase inhibition activity. Anticancer activity against two gastrointestinal cancer cell lines Caco-2 and HT-29 (colorectal adenocarcinoma) and antimalarial activity has been also measured. Unfortunately, none of isolated alkaloids showed some significant activity in biological assays. Keywords:...
