A problem of electric powered wheelchair

This work deals with the research electric powered wheelchair and one's own project for its improvement. At the beginning a basic characterization of powered electric wheelchair is described. The work continues with a study of research control systems. Next, statistics are worked up from opinion poll. Instrument for optimalization engine power and battery capacity is created in terms of this information.

Design of drive for electric powered tricycle

This work deals with designs of drive for two types electric powered tricycles (type for outdoor and indoor). Designs comprise general conception of drive. We selected optimal electric motors in terms of research electric engines and calculations. Next, we proposed batteries. The last part describes design power circuit and general financial expenses.

Post-crisis Re-regulation of Financial Markets

This paper analyzes the causes of financial crises, and on this basis it proposes possible changes in financial regulation. Throughout the paper we work with a hypothesis that the major roots of financial distress are excess credit growth and substantial capital inflows. We test this hypothesis on a dataset comprising entries from Australia, Japan, the UK, and US over the approximate period 1970-2010. The results confirm that there is a consistent relation of credit development to financial crisis incidences and a somewhat less consistent effect of capital inflows. Furthermore, since we find a robust positive effect of past credit growth on the probability of a crisis occurrence, we propose a change in interest rate policy. Our suggestion implies a consideration of credit to GDP ratio during the execution of the monetary policy decisions on interest rates.

První se zabývá prezentací teoretických poznatků týkajících se jevu zvaný šedá ekonomika. Tato část popisuje definice, příčiny, důsledky a metody odhadování stínové ekonomiky. V druhé části prezentujeme výsledky odhadů velikosti šedé ekonomiky v České republice v letech 1990-2009 použitím Kaufmann - Kaliberda modelu a metody měření poptávky po oběživu. Také zde analyzujeme získaný vývoj velikosti šedé i celkové ekonomické činnosti. Podle výsledků získaných metodou měření poptávky po oběživu velikost neoficiální ekonomiky poklesla z 18.4% na 14.2 - 15.7% HDP v letech 1994-2009, ale ve stálých cenách její velikost stagnovala. Tedy vývoj celkové a oficiální ekonomické činnosti se výrazně neliší. Výsledky Kaufmann - Kaliberda metody se ukázaly jako nepravděpodobné, což je způsobeno sestavením tohoto modelu. Abstract in...
