Analysis of education of a child with visual impairment in kindergarten

The bachelor thesis entitled "Analysis of education of a child with visual impairment in kindergarten" analyzes the development of a visually impaired child in a preschool facility of a common type and the course of his education. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to acquaint with the support measures, that make the education of children with visual impairment possible, and to analyze its implementation in the practice of a regular kindergarten. That is accomplished by a direct work with the child, his observations and interviews with him, as well as interviews with the child's mother and a special pedagogue from the special pedagogical centre that the child attends. The analysis of a literature provides the theoretical support of a description of the development of an intact child in preschool age and a child with visual impairment in the same age. The last theoretical part is a description and analysis of support measures for children and pupils with visual impairment according to the Catalog of Support Measures. The chapters on the development of a visually impaired child and on support measures also contain texts from practice, on which the findings are shown.
