A Case Study of the Training of Elite Czech Female Runner
Švecová, Anna ; Červinka, Pavel (advisor) ; Franková, Aneta (referee)
Title: A Case Study of the Training of Elite Czech Female Runner Objectives: The aim of this study was to analyze the training load of an elite endurance runner in relation to performance and biochemical factors of oxygen transfer. Methods: The method of content analysis of training diaries and results of laboratory tests of probands was used to develop this thesis. The data provided by the proband's trainer at the time were used for processing. Results: The work showed that the area of loading in terms of metabolic cover that most affected performance growth was the anaerobic threshold area. Furthermore, the work showed us that the proband did not have stable biochemical values and did not confirm that the growth in performance was accompanied by stable and increased values of biochemical parameters in oxygen transfer. Keyworks: training diaries, analysis, intensity and volume of the training load
Evaluation of running techniques in elite Czech runners
Franková, Aneta ; Červinka, Pavel (advisor) ; Semerád, Miroslav (referee)
Title: Evaluation of running techniques in elite Czech male and female runners Aims: The main goal of the work is to evaluate the running technique of elite Czech male and female runners on middle tracks and intra-individual variability of the running style. Methods of work: Qualitative kinematic analysis of motion and quantitative cinematographic examination method of video recording of running technique were used to create this work. The records were further processed using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Kinovea and Microsoft Excel. Results: The individual probands of the research group fulfill a substantial part of the model running technique recommended by the literature such as the active forefoot strike, the duration of individual phases, or the correct position of the head, torso, and extended reflex limb in the propulsion phase. So, we can say that Czech runners are technically capable. However, at the same time we observe a different individual concept of running technique for each proband, such as lumbar hyperlordosis, retroflection of torso, head tilt or the extent of arm work. Key words: biomechanics of motion, kinematic analysis, running technique, economics of motion
Analysis of the training load and the performance development of the female runners at the stage of specialized training
Franková, Aneta ; Červinka, Pavel (advisor) ; Kaplan, Aleš (referee)
Title: Analysis of the training load and the performance development of the female runner athlete stage of specialized training. Aims: The main aim of this thesis was the analysis of the training load of female runner athlete sage of specialized training in three preparatory periods 2012-2015. Then compare them to professional literature dealing with given theme, answer research questions and formulate conclusions. Methods of work: This thesis was created using content analysis method from three preparation periods and the professional literature. For the mutual comparison and comparison with professional literature was used comparative method. Results: Preparation compare to professional literature have bigger volume of work to the detriment of intense. Training was adequate to age, heading towards performance development and in the area of special preparation does not exceed recommended model characteristics. The biggest reserve is in area of regeneration and speed conditioning. Key words: training load, performance development, stage of specialized training
