The mass real estate appraissal methods
Tomec, Václav ; Dvořáček, Lukáš (referee) ; Ivanička, Koloman (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to explore the use of Mass Appraisal Methods in Czech republic. This diploma thesis specifies main use of those methods, next specifies who uses this methods and in which cases this methods are used. At first, there is description of appraisal methods used in Czech republic and abroad in this diploma thesis. On the basis of this knowledge utilizations of Mass Appraisal Methods are described. For illustration of Mass Appraisal Methods the appraisal of two sets of similar houses is performed for use of property taxes in context of legislation in Czech republic. Further advantages of appraisal systems are described, which use a Mass Appraisal Methods in praxes.
Use of Software Support for the Economic Evaluation of the Investment Project
Hortová, Michaela ; Dvořáček, Lukáš (referee) ; Hromádka, Vít (advisor)
This thesis deals with economic evaluation case study of Ekofarm construction using applications Crystal Ball and Pertmaster Risk Project. The thesis represents the fundamental characteristics of the investment project and methods of its evaluation. There are introduced basic features of both applications on probabilistic risk analysis performed by simulation method Latin Hypercube Sampling. The case study is described in detail including breeding system and method of financing. This is linked to the calculation of economic fundamentals and creation of project cash flow. The result is probabilistic analysis which is output from tested software tools, and its evaluation.

The practical part is focused on exploration of the company, its structures and strategies in the planning of human resources through the questionnaire.
Impact of housing sector on greenhouse emissions
Hošková, Tereza ; Dvořáček, Lukáš (referee) ; Ivanička, Koloman (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the influence of the housing sector in the creation of greenhouse gases. The theoretical part of the recommended proposals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the residential sector and a description of the environmental impacts of buildings in various phases of the life cycle in terms of greenhouse gas emissions. The practical part deals with projects that have been implemented or planned under the auspices of the world organization Ecocity.
delta subunit of bacterial RNA pol and its role in regulation of gene expression in B. subtilis
Dvořáček, Lukáš ; Krásný, Libor (advisor) ; Vopálenský, Václav (referee)
Delta subunit of bacterial RNA pol and its role in regulation of gene expression in B. subtilis. In this work I focus on regulation of eubacterial gene expression. First, I describe recent knowledge about a key stage of gene expression - transcription, focusing on regulation of trancription iniciation via small effector molecules (guanosine tetraphosphate, initiating nucleoside triphosphate) that are important for the regulation of ribosomal RNA. Second, in the experimental part of my work, I focus on the role of the _ protein, a subunit of RNA polymarase in gram positive bacteria, in transcription iniciation and its effects on regulation of RNA polymerase by the concentration of initiating nucleoside triphosphates.
Extracellular matrix in yeast populations
Novotná, Pavla ; Kuthan, Martin (advisor) ; Dvořáček, Lukáš (referee)
The microorganisms in a natural environment are frequently found in multicellular forms, most commonly in biofilms. Biofilm is characterized as a community of cells living at the interface of two environments, embedded in the extracellular matrix. ECM is a significant component of biofilms in yeast populations. Extracellular matrix acts as a protective barrier and allows cells to survive under adverse conditions and better compete with other microorganisms. It also forms an effective barrier against antibiotics and other harmful substances, what makes biofilms a serious problem in medicine and industry. Formation of the matrix may be influenced by the morphological forms of colonies. Increased formation of ECM is commonly connected in phenotypic switching in response to changes of their living conditions. The compositeion of the ECM is a genus-and species-specific. The main component of the matrix consists of polysaccharides and proteins.
Functions of sigma factors of RNA polymerase in Corynebacterium glutamicum
Dvořáková, Pavla ; Pátek, Miroslav (advisor) ; Dvořáček, Lukáš (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to characterize the function of sigma factors of the bacterium Corynebacterium glutamicum and to analyze the promoter sequences which are recognized by individual sigma factors. Sigma (σ) factors are the subunits of RNA polymerase, which allow recognizing the sequences of specific promoter regions of the gene and initiating its transcription. The C. glutamicum genome carries genes encoding the primary sigma factor σA and six alternative sigma factors, σB , σC , σD , σE , σH and σM , whose expression is changed depending on the growth conditions and in response to the stimuli from the surrounding environment. Regulation of gene expression at the level of transcription is one of the mechanisms of the adaptation of cells to changes of living conditions. At the conclusion of this work, a model of the regulatory network of sigma factors, which is a core of the complex regulatory network controlling all processes in the cell, is proposed. Key words: sigma factor (SF), RNA polymerase, Corynebacterium glutamicum, transcription, promoter

Molecular mechanisms of carcinogenesis induced by HPV from Alpha and Betapapillomaviridae
Pokrývková, Barbora ; Tachezy, Ruth (advisor) ; Dvořáček, Lukáš (referee)
Human papillomaviruses (HPV) are small DNA viruses ubiquitously present in population. They infect mucosal and cutaneous epithelium and cause benign and malignant diseases. Research of HPV became more intensive after 1983, when these viruses were isolated for the first time from cervical carcinoma samples. Nowaday it is known, that number of other malignancies is associated with HR HPV infection and the research is focused on evaluating the role of these viruses in skin cancer. This bachelor thesis outlines mechanisms by which HPV from Alfa and Betapapillomaviridae genus causes malignant and benign lesions. The main HPV oncoprotein is protein E6, which binds p53 and targets it for degradation, and protein E7 which interacts with retinoblastoma protein and influences his function in cell cycle regulation. Papillomaviruses from genus alpha contain additionally E5 oncoprotein which is not present in viruses from genus beta. This suggests that the mechanisms of cancerogenesis initiated by viruses from these two genera will be different. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
