Synergy between traditional sport and esport: motivation to start esport teams by traditional sports clubs
Dušek, Jakub ; Voráček, Josef (advisor) ; Krause, Veronika (referee)
Title: Synergy of traditional sports and esports: Motivations for establishing esports teams by traditional sports clubs Objectives: The main goal of this master's thesis is to identify the motivational aspects of traditional sports clubs for founding esports teams and to evaluate the benefits of this step. This proposal will focus on the study of synergy between traditional sports and esports and examine what reasons lead sports clubs to invest in esports and create their esports teams. It aims to understand the economic, strategic, and fan-based aspects of the connection between these sectors and propose recommendations for clubs on how best to use the synergy between traditional sports and esports. Methods: Qualitative research is used in this thesis. Research is based on a carefully designed selection of respondents to obtain a representative sample of opinions from various environments and perspectives. A total of six key respondents participated in the research, each representing a recognized traditional football team or hockey club. Conclusion: The results of the thesis show that traditional sports clubs are deciding to establish esports teams primarily for the purpose of brand expansion and reaching younger demographic groups. This step also opens up new market opportunities and sources of...
Complexes of aminoclay and selected organic compounds
Dušek, Jakub ; Pekař, Miloslav (referee) ; Mravec, Filip (advisor)
This paper describes the preparation of aminoclay and complexes of aminoclay with selected bioactive substances. The theoretical part deals with the study of aminoclay and substances suitable for complexes and suitable modification of preparation these complexes. Experimental part of this paper consists of preparation of aminoclay complexes and verification of their formation. In order to verify the formation of the complex by binding of bioactive compounds to the free amino groups of aminoclay were used methods FT-IR (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy) and XRD (X-ray diffraction). For selected substances, binding to the aminoclay would improve their properties, which was the main motivation for the research. The resulting complexes could be more effective by replacing existing substances used in the pharmaceutical industry and biomedical applications.
Draft solution of unified industrial communication system (ICS) for the foundry object
Dušek, Jakub ; Jordán, Vilém (referee) ; Sedlák, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a complex network infrastructure for the Brno foundry, which is supposed to replace the inadequate infrastructure within the foundry. In the second part of the thesis are explained the concepts of computer network, network topology, Ethernet, section of cabling system and basic concepts needed to understand network infrastructure design. The third part deals with the analysis of the current situation and sets out recommendations for a new network infrastructure. The last part deals with the complex design of the network infrastructure in the foundry premises.
Design and implementation of control applications capable to connect laboratory MES system
Dušek, Jakub ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to understand the ISA-95 standard and the manufacturing executing system (MES) based on this standard. Control application of discrete manufacturing controlling for PLC is then created and applied on a school device model. The thesis explains the ISA-95 standard and its influence on MES. The division and functions of MES according to ISA-95 are further described and explained. The theoretical part, the application of discrete manufacturing controlling for PLC is implemented on a drill model, simulating a segment of drilling. Structure of the software has been implemented in a way to correspond to the requirements given by MES and to be easily built upon.
Design of Consumption Management of Material Elements for Production Processes with a Focus on Waste Management of the Production Line
Dušek, Jakub ; Tesař, Rostislav (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the analysis of the waste management of the production line and the proposal of measures to ensure the reduction of waste in the production process. It also deals with the streamlining of production data reporting, using information and automation technologies with the use of lean manufacturing principles.
Penetration testing of ANC
Dušek, Jakub ; Jakub,, Přibyl (referee) ; Sedlák, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of a security solution that was recently deployed by a British company renting office space. This validation system is based on a database of MAC addresses, a database of clients and active filtering of connected devices. The first part explains the concepts of computer network, VLAN and basic concepts needed to understand the function of dynamic assignment of VLAN and IP addresses. The second part is devoted to measurements based on hypotheses, according to which measures are proposed in the last part to solve these security problems.
Properties of aminoclay complexes and biologically active substances
Dušek, Jakub ; Pekař, Miloslav (referee) ; Mravec, Filip (advisor)
This paper builds on previous research of aminoclay complexes in undergraduate studies. Theoretical part deals with study of current problems of aminoclay complexes with bioactive substances and the choice of substances for complexing with aminoclay. The experimental part consists of preparation of aminoclay complexes with selected bioactive agents at various concentrations. Verification of binding of bioactive agents to the aminoclay matrix was performed by Elemental Analysis (EA) and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). For finding of the bound amount of bioactive substance were used the Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC®) and analysis of the cytotoxic properties of the formed complexes by used by the MTT assay. The main motivation of this study is to create new complexes with improved characteristics that would replace existing forms of substances used in pharmaceutical and biomedical applications.
Development of the circadian system after systemic potentiation of GABAergic transmission in early ontogenesis
Dušek, Jakub ; Bendová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Mareš, Pavel (referee)
The circadian system is the evolutionary response of organisms to repetitive geophysical conditions and allows organisms to devote their energy to solving sudden changes. Although the circadian system developed to help organisms survive and thrive in dynamic conditions, system itself is sensitive to external changes. During critical developmental period of the mammalian CNS, the neonatal period, the circadian systém is significantly vulnerable. Benzodiazepines, pharmaceuticals widely prescribed for half a century, interfere with GABAergic transmission, which is critical type of signaling for the functioning of the circadian systém. The purpose of this thesis is to determine whether and how the development and functioning of the circadian system is altered after administration of a drug from the benzodiazepine class, clonazepam, during the critical developmental period. This thesis examines changes in the expression profile of selected genes in the hippocampus, olfactory bulb and frontal cortex of two ontogenetic stages of rats. Results of this work suggest that benzodiazepines administred in the neonatal period disrupt the development of the circadian system and that these changes, particularly in the hippocampus, persist for certain time. Key words: circadian system; circadian rhythms;...
