Knowledge management and its application in human resource management

This doctoral thesis proposes to specify a relatively new managerial discipline - Knowledge Management (KM) in a different way than it is done in an accessible literature. Nowadays, KM represents a wide and intensively discussed topic with many critics as well as advocates. Above all, it is a practical discipline that came out of practice and it is inseparably connected with it. Intangible (knowledge) assets are its main essence. KM is a complex process that must be supported by a strong foundation of enablers. The enablers for KM are corporate strategy and culture, team work, informal networking, measurement, and technology. Each of these must be designed and managed together with the others and supported by organizational process. The process usually involves several of the following stages or sub-processes in the use of knowledge: to create, identify, formalize, organize, disseminate, share, adapt, use and evaluate it. Effective implementation of KM brings the right knowledge to the right associates on time and in the right form to the organization. The thesis consists of four chapters. Bakalářská práce sestává ze dvou částí - metodologické a aplikační. V metodologické části je postaven teoretický základ finanční analýzy. Praktická část pak obsahuje charakteristiku podniku a vlastní finanční analýzu. Finanční analýza je provedena na základě zpracovaných účetních výkazů. Podnik je analyzován pomocí horizontální, vertikální analýzy, poměrových ukazatelů a několika predikčních modelů.
The proposal of the optimal type of e-communication for the division of microscopes and industrial endoscopes of the Olympus company

The graduatin thesis is devoted to implementation of the new model of e-communication for the division of microscopes and industrial endoscopes of the Olympus company. The first part includes theoretical essentials for the elaboration. The terms concerning marketing and commerial communications are explained in it, such as the differences between the purchasing process of the consumer and the companies, the topic of brand management is also mentioned and situation analysis and in the end general rules of comercial communications and e-marketing ale discussed.The aplication part describes the history of the Olympus company, its situation analysis and SWOT analysis of the division of microscopes,the procedure of creating the clients database, development of forms of the commercial notes sent and also the results of the first and second e-mailing realized. As the conclusion the recommendations to the future are indicated.
