Approach development to drug use after the year 1989

This diploma work is concentrated to description of approaches development of Czech society to drugs after the year 1989. In its theoretical part is described a development of criminallaw approach (with a special accent to connected legislation after the year 1989), a development of medical approach (introduced by bio-psycho-social model of addiction, and a basic system of services for drug users and their development after the year 1989) and a development of coordination of both approaches in a frame of drug policy in Czech Republic (as a new phenomenon after the year 1989). A practical part presents an experts examination, through which were the experts for criminal law and experts for medical approach (who works in a different kind of services for drug users) asked about their view of a development approaches of society to drugs. Then was the aim to compare the views of experts with findings from theoretical part of this work.
The personality of chronic disease pupil and possibilities of his/her development in cognitive and metacognitive area

This graduate thesis deals with a pupil with chronic disease and how his/ her disease is reflected in the sphere of knowing, reflections and learning. In the first part, we limit the concept of chronic disease and outline classification of chronic diseases and their features. We also deal with the influence of the disease on a child's psyche and the special characteristics combined with a pupil's chronic disease in the school environment and, subsequently, we pay attention to problems of the personality of a pupil with chronic disease in the context of knowing and learning. In the empirical part, we try to find typical elements in the field of these pupils' learning styles.
The experience of bullying among pupil of primary schools

The aim of this thesis is to focus from different perspectives on a very topical issue of bully at primary schools, which can have a really bad influence on the experience of pupils in the school for a lifetime. Furthermore, in an empirical investigation to explain how is the bully considered in the eyes of teachers and whether they are able to deal with it effectively. The theoretical part deals more specifically with bully at primary schools and from the definition of the term bully to its prevention. Describes the most common types of bullies, which may occur in this surround. Subsequently, pays our attention on the profiles of the main actors of this pathological phenomenon. Conclusion of the theoretical part is devoted to the right procedures of bully while its actors are being asked which is followed by a work of a school teacher with his class, aggressors and victims in order to prevent any repetition of the situation and to ovoid or minimize the potential consequences. The practical part contains the results of the survey which was undertaken in 2010 at primary schools in Pardubice. Its aim was to determine the theoretical knowledge and practical experience of educators with issues relating to bully at primary schools
Social and pedagogical help to cictims of home violence

The thesis deals with social and pedagogical aspects of a home violence. The preface defines the basic terms related to the home violence issue and an attention is paid to the home violence actors. The following chapter deals with the meaning of prevention of the home violence, the emphasis being placed on the primary prevention. The thesis also outlines the possibilities of a legal protection and help to home violence victims from the point of view of legal standards. The core part of the thesis focuses on social and pedagogical help to home violence victims, where social and pedagogical aspects of the work with the home violence victims are defined. Attention is paid not only to the direct work with the home violence victims but also to other systems of help to actors of home violence. A meaning of the interdisciplinary cooperation is raised here in solving the home violence and activities of institutions providing help to home victims are described. The last chapter of the theoretical thesis offers an evaluation of the present system of help provided to the home violence victims in CR. Socio-pathological features among children and young adults in special consideration of bullying

This graduation thesis analyzes problems of one of the most frequent social - pathological phenomena among youth and children. Special attention is given to the characteristics and appearance of bullying among students in the upper grades of primary school. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part focuses on a review and description of exposures to aggressiveness, vandalism, truancy, and a variety of addictions and food intake disorders. The major part of this section concentrates on bullying - (the aggressor, the victim, symptoms, causes for its occurrence , prevention) The empirical part consists of a questionnaire inquiry focusing on the current situation as disclosed in classrooms at two primary schools with different backgrounds (one in the city and the other in the countryside). Each question in the questionnaire should bring an affirmation concerning the atmosphere in the classrooms, the dominant forms of bullying, and the differences in the behavior of boys versus girls. Other questions touch upon the orientation of students in the area of bullying-related problems and their ability to formulate ideas as how to possibly correct or solve these problems. Socio-Pathological Phenomena at Secondary Vocational School and Their Possible Solution

This diploma work named Socio-Pathological Phenomena at Secondary Vocational School and Their Possible Solution deals, in its theoretical part, with the basic terminology related with this topic. It also focuses on the risk behaviour among today's young people, and briefly introduces socio-pathological phenomena which occured at the surveyed secondary school in the last two years. It also describes other kinds of contemporary risk behaviour among young generation. At the end of theoretical part, there are introduced some of the current trends in school prevention and solution of socio-pathological phenomena. Period of adolescence is of course closely associated with this topic. It's called critical stage, and all the students pass this period during their secondary school attendance. That's why the chapter devoted to adolescence is elaborated in full details. Gender differences concerning appearance and intensity of socio-pathological phenomena are also mentioned here. Next, there is explained the system of primary prevention in The Czech Republic, the importace of family and school background, the impact of peers on personality development. Children from basic schools and drugs

This diploma work entitled "Children from Basic Schools and Drugs" deals with substance abuse among older school-age children. Its aim is to determine the status of awareness about the harmfulness of drugs and the rate of abuse among primary school pupils. The theoretical part is using the knowledge drawn from literature and own experiences addressed charakteristics of the child of school age and older pupils at primary school then a komplex problem of drugs including preventiv of their abuse. The empirical part describes the implementation of empirical probe. The results indicated a poor information and greater experience with their abuse of primary school pupils practical.
