Maintenance work design for small transport aircraft

The aim of this thesis is to design maintenance work for a small transport aircraft. This thesis is focused on an overview of the activities, which are carried out in the maintenance of small transport aircraft with a capacity about fifty passengers. The first part of this thesis is conceived as a theoretical part and summarizes the activities used during maintenance - maintenance methods, a typical part failures, diagnostics, network analysis and equations for the calculating of the cost of maintenance. At the beginning are showed the basic characteristics of selected representatives of this category and regulatory requirements on them. The design of maintenance work is in the second half of the thesis. It includes the visualization of the database that could be used for the maintenance of aircraft and which could be subsequently evaluated. This is a general description of the maintenance work, which ca be performed during the pre-flight inspection, re-inspection for repeated flights, preliminary preparation and periodic maintenance.

The history of civil aviation 1950-1970

This bachelor's thesis creates an overwiev of the history od civil aviation from 1950 to 1970. After World War II civilian transport aircraft was not common. At the end of the above two decades has become an essential part of traveling on long distance. Attention is given to important events in the history of aviation from transitiv from turboprop to turbofan engine. The highlight of this period was the construction of transport aircraft capable of overcoming supersonic speed.This thesis describes the development of helicopter construction. Attention is also given to the large construction offices in Europe, Asia and North America. Part of the work dealth with a development of aviation in Czechoslovakia.

Petru Cimpoesu and specific expressive means in his prose

(in English) The topic of this thesis is the work of Romanian writer Petru Cimpoeşu, in the context of the so-called '80s generation, a group of authors who entered the Romanian literary scene in the 1980s and contributed to its "synchronisation" with the course of events in the West. They brought innovative textualist and postmodern methods; among typical features of their writing we can count, for example: a return to the prosaic, intertextuality, autoreferentiality, stylistic polyphony, irony and self-irony. In this context, four works of Petru Cimpoeşu, published between 1983 and 2008, are analyzed (two collections of short stories and two novels). The thesis follows the evolution of the author's work, his subject matter and expressive means and is focused on his specific humour, which is based in irony. A separate chapter is dedicated to the critical reception of Cimpoeşu's work. On the basis of the analysis we can, with certain reservations, consider Petru Cimpoeşu as a member of the '80s generation - although he himself rather rejects this label. His latter work signals a clear move towards postmodernism. At present, Petru Cimpoeşu holds a place among the most critically acclaimed Romanian writers.

Srovnání modifikací predikčních bankrotních modelů

The goal of this theses is to compare existing bankruptcy prediction models with its new modification unique for this work, which could perform better than its competition. Proposed model is logit-based and consists of the combination of variables used in Altman´s and Ohlson´s models. The final model is estimated for medium sized companies in EU which aren´t publicly traded. This model achieved prediction accuracy of 97,1% (97.4% for healthy and 91.1% for bankrupt compa-nies) on its original dataset. As expected, when verified on new dataset, the accu-racy dropped but still reaches 97.1% (99.3% for healthy and 37.7% for bankrupt companies). The model is compared with its competition (original and modified version of Ohlson´s and partially Altman´s models) and it is shown that it has higher prediction accuracy.

This bachelor's thesis concerns with integration of the gondola lift in the public transportation system. The first part focuses on the general definition of transport, and a search of available literature. The second part examines economic effectiveness of the gondola lift in public transportation system on the example of planned gondola lift in the city of Brno.
