Visualization of Detected Objects from Drone in Microsoft HoloLens 2
Object Detector for Robotic Workplace
Kneslík, Martin ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Materna, Zdeněk (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis was to create an algorithm for detection and tracking of colored cubes using the Kinect Azure depth camera and integrate this algorithm into the ARCOR2 system. The solution uses color filtering of the input image, the DBSCAN algorithm for finding clusters in the pointcloud, and RANSAC for plane detection. The detection is evaluated on a custom dataset with an accuracy of 91%. The user of the ARCOR2 system can use the results of this work in a demonstration workstation in the robotics lab, where robots will manipulate the colored cubes detected by the algorithm.
Visualization Tool for Drone Pilot in Microsoft HoloLens 2
Kyjac, Martin ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
When piloting a drone, the pilot must monitor both the drone itself and various flight data. This activity requires constant concentration and even less inattention can lead to an accident. Especially when flying at greater distances, the pilot can very easily lose track of where the drone is located, which side it is heading to, or how high it is. To verify this information, it is necessary in common applications to tilt the head and thus lose sight of the drone because this data is located on the controller, which the pilot holds in his hands. This context switching is very impractical. The goal of this application is to visualize this data using augmented reality displayed through Microsoft Hololens 2. All necessary flight data is displayed using holograms  at the exact same position where the drone itself is in the sky, so the pilot does not have to switch between contexts. It is also much easier to display various elements of the mission in this way. Normally in such cases, the pilot has to somehow interpret the data from the 2D map into reality, which can be challenging. However, with augmented reality, this data can be displayed directly into the real world.
Augmented Reality with Haptical Feedback
Frýz, Jakub ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
Augmented reality lacks haptics. I try to solve this problem with the help of augmented reality glasses HoloLens 2 communicating via HTTP with Stratos Explore, a board simulating touch using ultrasound. I created two applications, the game Whack-A-Mole and the audio player, to demonstrate the connection between these technologies. Finally, testing was performed on a sample of potential users.
User Interface for ARTable and Microsoft Hololens
Web Tool for Playing and Anotation of BAG Files
Omacht, Martin ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Kapinus, Michal (advisor)
This work deals with the design and implementation of a web application for playback and annotation of multimedia data from files in BAG format. The created annotations are intended for training artificial intelligence in robotic systems. The resulting application is implemented with the help of React library for creating the user interface and framework Django for the server-side REST API. The entire application is containerized using Docker. This work describes the BAG format, analyzes modern libraries for creating web applications and introduces existing solutions for data annotation or playback of BAG files. Furthermore, the design of the application is presented and its implementation is described. A separate library rosbag_pyreader, which is used to read BAG files with random access, was created as part of this work. The resulting application allows user to display and annotate 2D and 3D data from multiple robotic sensors at the same time and then export the annotations in JSON format.
Visual Programming of Robotic Tasks
Ling, David ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Kapinus, Michal (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to extend the functionality of ARTable system, which using Robot operating system (ROS). In this thesis, user interface was extended and now it is possible to create new or edit already created programs for PR2 robot using touch table. All extensions are implemented in Python using ROS and Qt frameworks. The extensions are fully functional and connected to the rest of the system.
Intuitive Control of Strategy Games on Touch Devices
Haas, Patrik ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to provide an answer to the question of how to create a user-friendly controllable strategy game on a touch device and what gestures should be used. This work provides an answer to the question in such a way that it is here how to program such a game, and what controls are best to choose and why. There is also an implementation of individual gestures for control.
Pandemic - A Multiplayer Game in Spatial Augmented Reality
Januška, Filip ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to create a board game for the interactive projector Hachi Infinite M1. The created game is an adaptation of the classic board game Pandemic, which is enhanced with various new game mechanisms, which suitably use the advantages of the digital version. The application was implemented in the Unity game engine for Android devices. The thesis discusses the topic of augmented reality and its possible uses in various fields, including the gaming industry.
Applications of Computers in Ultramicro Aviation
Grossová, Žaneta ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to create a system for monitoring flight hours of ultralight aircrafts. First part is an embedded device that is built into the ultralight aircraft and transmits Bluetooth signal. Second part is a mobile application for Android operating system, that keeps running in the background and after connecting to this signal starts recording and processing GPS data. With the right configuration, system is able to independently recognize boarding the airplane, beginning of the flight ad it's ending. Collected data are sent on FTP server in format compatible with Excel.
