The aim of the bachelor´s thesis is to design family house, which is located in Červený Kostelec in the quiet area. It is a two-storey building with attached garage, which has one-storey. Both the building and the garage have a flat extensive roof. The main entrances of the house and the garage are situated to south. The load-bearing walls are masonry designed from ceramic blocks with insulation inside. Horizontal load-bearing structures are made from ceramics and concrete. The heating and ventilation systems are designed to ensure the proper operation of the building. The house will be heated by underfloor heating, using an air-to-water heat pump. Air exchange in the building will be provided by a forced ventilation, mediating both the supply and exhaust of fresh air into the living spaces. Rainwater will be collected in an accumulation tank and subsequently utilized for garden irrigation. Excess water will be infiltrated into the ground on the property. The project also includes an energy performance certificate developed within the framework of the Energetika program. The building falls into the "A - exceptionally energy-efficient" category.
Apartment building
Drinková, Daniela ; Čech, Miroslav (referee) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design concept of a new three-storey apartment building situated in Kyjov. The building is located in a relatively quiet area of the city, surrounded by greenery and gardening colonies, on flat to slightly sloping terrain. The building is partially basement with vertical structures of lost formwork. In the cellar area there are cellar cubicles, a bicycle room and a carriage room together with a utility room. The rest of the vertical structures on the site are designed as Porotherm brickwork, the horizontal structures are designed as pre-stressed Spiroll panels. The roofing of the apartment building is made by means of a single-skin flat vegetated roof. In total, there are 9 residential units in the building, of which 2 3-bedroom units are for people with limited mobility and orientation. The apartments on the second floor have conceived balconies oriented towards the east and overlooking the gardening colony, also oriented are the terraces on the third floor for apartments 3kk and 4kk. From the west side there is an entrance to the building connected to the adjacent road, which is also connected to the parking lot for the apartment building with 15 parking spaces, of which 2 spaces are for people with disabilities.

The main source of renewable energy is 13 PV installed on the roof. The house is heated by an air-to-water heat pump located next to the utility room. The water is heated by an internal heat pump and stored in an accumulation tank. Floor heating is solved in the house. The Object is carried out forced ventilation and air handling unit with heat recovery designed. The living area will have fan-coils installed for cooling. Rainwater will be accumulated in the storage tank and infiltration blocks, and then it will be used to irrigate the garden. Horní Cerekev has its own wastewater treatment plant where the wastewater from the building will be discharged. It is made of three subsequent triangels, it has got three above-ground floors with partial basement. The roof of the building is suggested as a warm flat roof with coating insulation. The structural system of a building is designed as longitudinal with shear walls. The exterior building masonry is suggested from sharpened clay blocks Heluz STI 40 with thickness 400 mm. The contact thermal insulation system ETICS with an insulant from EPS with thickness 100 mm is designed for all building. The building for the elderly is from its bigger part meant for citizens who are older than 65 years in the flats for one or two persons in 2FLR and 3FLR. The aim of this Master´s project is the design of the elementary art school in Slavkov u Brna. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part deals with architectural and structural design of the building, the second part with design of selected building services, and the third part with a noise study of the building. The building has two floors and a flat green roof. It is operationally divided into two sections with a common entrance - the art school itself and the concert hall. Bachelor thesis expands an architectural study elaborated within the framework of the course AG33 to the stage Documentation for permission of construction and Documentation for building permission. The topic of the thesis is a Culture Center in Brno, for which was selected a lot on the street Údolní in front of square Obilný trh in a slope under the Špilberk. Close to the lot is located University hospital Brno – maternity hospital and the building of Public Guard of Rights and historical build-up area from 19. century, which strictly keeps a street line, this street line was disrupted by gap site during the 2. World War, due to the bomb fallout. New building of the cultural center is designed in this gap site between two historical houses and completes original frontageline. The main idea of design was to keep the fromtage line and at the same time interconnect by designed project an opposite square with a park and castle Špilberk. Object comprises three parts. The main object is in the shape of a letter L and its back part is partly built in the slope, in bigger wing of the building is located a foyer, a big concert hall, performers, staff and technical facilities and storage area in the first floor, small conference hall with foyer in the second floor and gallery in the third floor, in smaller wing café and gym are located. Second part includes sheltered penthouse in the shape of letter L which is designed in form of steel structure, which is adjacent to the main object and thus creates square-shaped yard. The cover at the same time creates sheltered passage from Obilný trh onwards to Špilberk. Third object is the smallest one, it has cuboid shape and it is defined as a commercial space especially for free-time activities.
