System with Model Servos

The aim of this thesis was to study the ways of controlling hobby servos, and then to design and create small machine with hobby servos. The created machine is a six-legged walking robot - hexapod with 18 servos for movement. This robot can be remotely controlled using a mobile application for Android. Main control unit of the robot is ESP32 development board. The resulting hexapod is able to walk in all directions and rotate on spot with different walking gaits. It can also change its ground clearance and walking speed. The result of this thesis is a compact walking robot with basic functions, which is suitable for extensions, eg. adding a camera or measuring sensors.
Early Voting in the U.S. Election System

The bachelor thesis Early voting in the U. S. Election System deals with the concept, which aims to significantly simplify the election process to increase the turnout and make the access to electoral process easier to most people. The bachelor thesis defines terms early voting and absentee voting and its expansion. The analysis is also focused on differences between Election day voters and early voters. The operation of early voting in practice is illustrated in three cases from states Florida, Oregon and Virginia. Advantages and disadvantages of this type of voting and view to the future are presented in final part of thesis. The emphasis is also placed on the global expansion of this type of voting, which allows to cast ballot prior the Election day. The current electoral system of the Czech Republic, which does not allow to vote early is also mentioned in thesis.
Consequences of opposition agreement

This bachelor's thesis examines the implications and impacts of the opposition agreement between the political parties the ČSSD and the ODS. The introduction is the definition of the way for the conclusion of the contract and the circumstances of its creation. Subsequently the work deals with the analysis and definition of the main causes leaded up to the opposition agreement. On the basis of these causes are identified major themes and objectives of both opposition parties including the definition of what exactly these two sides promised by this unusual and surprising cooperation. The next chapter is concerned with the main theme of this work which is an analysis of the effects and impacts of the opposition agreement. The consequences associated with the Czech political system are analysed at first. The greatest emphasis is placed on the consequences of the new electoral law and its comparison with the original electoral law. The next is the analyse of the transformation and development of the Czech party system during the term of the opposition agreement. I've used Sartori's typology of party systems for this analysis. In addition there are mentioned and discussed also other consequences that are linked to the opposition agreement and that in some way related to political and public affairs....

The Diploma thesis discusses the German political party Alternative für Deutschland and its position in the German political system. The thesis deals with Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) since its establishment in 2013 until spring 2017. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the ideological and programmatic transformation of AfD. AfD was formed as an eurosceptic party just few months before the General Election in 2013. AfD has became the first eurosceptic party in Germany which has attracted substantial electoral support in local, national and European elections. The main motivation of the party was the fight against the eurozone crisis and EU criticism. The AfD's criticism is mainly focused on the EU's fiscal and monetary regime. Frauke Petry has became a new party leader in 2015. In the same year the party has turned its focus to immigration and Islam. New leader Petry has managed to take control of a debate on the position of migration and asylum policy. Under her leadership the party has became an anti-immigration party. She was also trying to enfoce a party line to extend populism, xenophobia and islamophobia. AfD is focused on criticism of migration and asylum policies in EU and Germany. Position and influence of the Swedish people's party in Finland

This thesis deals with the topic of the Swedish People's Party in Finland. The party has been an essential part of the Finnish party system since its establishment in 1906. During the time of its existence, it has faced many changes. Firstly, the support of voters has been constantly declining, continuously with the declining of Swedish speaking population in Finland. Secondly, there are many current issues, appearing in these days, such as discussion about the official languages and their using in practice, immigration issues etc. In its first, theoretical part, the thesis is introducing the party, and then it is analysing the data about the topics mentioned above. A a conclusion, the thesis sums up all the materials and shows all findings related to the topic.
Patterns of the electoral behavior of voters in the Usti Region

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to try to find out a formula of electoral behavior of voters in region Ústí nad Labem using a correlation analysis. In the first part of the thesis its author introduces regional differences related to specific variables or election results. In the second part a large dataset is made on a municipality level and applied to a disctricts' level subsequently. A goal of the thesis is to find out a correlation between election results of four chosen political parties (ČSSD, ODS, KSČM, DSSS) in elections to Parliament of the Czech Republic in years 2010 and 2013, and a voters' socioeconomic status using the obtained dataset. The conclusion of the thesis reveals whether we could expect any specific election results of selected political parties based on voters'socioeconomic status and also to find out a formula for voters' behavior.
