This thesis focusses on the subject of leadership. It describes various leadership styles, considers the personality of a leader and whether or not it is possible to learn to be a good leader. It also addresses the issue of teamwork; what is a team, what are the characteristics of a successful team, and what causes a team to fail in its task. In addition, the thesis also looks at volunteer work; who is a volunteer, what is the volunteer's role in an organization, and what are their needs, and some issues faced in developing human resources. The practical part on this thesis is focussed on Fusion; it describes Fusion's activities, and how it functions in the Czech Republic and abroad. Based on field research, it highlights the needs of Fusion leaders, and proposes the needed leadership training and development to fulfill this need. The Discourse of Visuality of Grammar School Pupil

The dissertation deals with visuality, its perception by pupils of the secondary school. The theoretical part of the work defines the concept of image, visuality, their contextual frameworks. It takes into account the discursivity of these concepts. The aim of the research is to determine students' preferences in the concept of visuality. It seeks theoretical foundation in the areas of: visual sphere - artistic production, new media; art history; spheres of humanities - philosophy, pedagogy, psychology. It also deals with communication and linguistics. It applies knowledge of a semiotic nature. Research design is applied action research of a qualitative nature. It uses the methodology of Grounded Theory and triangulation. The research part of the thesis contains evaluated questionnaire surveys, reflecting selected artifacts. Interpreted student outcomes. These are evaluated using the obtained data to answer research questions. The thesis brings a new perspective on visual information, from the perspective of the pupil. Nowadays, we as educators, are searching for the most appropriate way to offer children and adolescents the necessary competences for to be adapt in the contemporary visual society. Methodological Teaching Goals Of The Museum Education For Development Of The Cooperation Between Schools And Museums

This work presents a complex analysis of the methodological teaching goals with regard to the museum education, in the context of cooperation between schools and museums from the humanistic concept of education perspective. The subject of the work is based on the assumption that certain methodological goals entail a significant feature for educational planning and implementation, and they also are one of the instruments of the functional development cooperation between the two institutions. The theoretical part of thesis deals with the methodological goal as a follow-up to the museum education definition. It is not only essential to find a concept of the term - teaching goal, but also to analyse the content of the museum education goals; so it's the work analysis of a museum pedagogue and his/her goals towards other components in the museum education process. The emphasis is put also on the issue of autoevaluation regarding the educational results. Last but not least the work focusses on the historical perspective as well. Namely, it examines the cooperation between schools and museums, its educational programmes as systematic conditions for a mutual collaboration.
