Analysis of existing methods of measuring innovation corporate culture

The presented thesis addresses the topic of innovation corporate culture and instruments of measurement. The thesis is built systematically from the general to the specific. The first part deals with the general definition of culture and its characteristics, and further it is described the phenomenon of organizational culture with the elements, by which is determined. The last theoretical part is about the definition of a specific type of corporate culture, of which domain is to support long-term innovation capability. It is based on literature review on this topic. Then it is introduced several tools that try to measure innovation culture or similar concepts and these are commented in relation just to the definition of an innovation culture. The following part is research, which contains the results of the use of tools, which was developed by Rao and Weintraub (2013) and evaluation of this tool. This tool was applied to a company, by which business is consulting in the field of innovation and designing of new products and services. The synthesis of ecology and economics as a possible solution to ecological crisis

The presented thesis is focused on a ecological crisis. It is considered as a global probleme, which is connected with a world economy. The first part reflects manifestations of the ecological crisis such as for example a pollution of water and air, a climate changing and problems of waste etc. Than the thesis deals with social-economic problems of poverty, deficit of food and water, which are related to the physical manifestations. The followig part defines the neoclassical conventional economics and how does it bound up with the ecological crisis and how does it contribute to gettig worse the conterporary state of environment. After that is presented the ecological economics as the cognitive tool, which would be helpful in the elimination of the ecological crisis and probably in the prevention a far worse situation. The text showes, that only the conventional look at natural sources is not possible today.
New Product Development Using Design Thinking Approach

The subject of this thesis is an innovation process using design thinking approach and resulting in a potentially successful new product, a board game. The first part reflects the theoretical approaches to innovation in general, the division innovation by various aspects and the models of the innovation process. Further is presented approach design thinking in more details, because this approach will be applied of the specific case of new product development in the practical part. The theoretical part is closed by methods financial evaluation of investments, which will help to evaluate a new product economically. The practical part begins with a description of the object of the innovation process and introduction of market of board games. This is followed by development a new product by design thinking approach, which is divided into phases inspiration, ideation and implementation. The result of the innovation process is a board game, that reacts and responds to the needs and wishes of potential customers, because of the empathy in the initial phase. Its economic viability was confirmed through the application of some methods of financial evaluation of investments.
