The pump in the turbine regime in the hydraulic circuit

This thesis is focused on finding an optimal working area of a pump running in a turbine mode and choosing a suitable pump from a company catalogue. Calculations of a water tower are accomplished based on basic equations of hydromechanics. The optimal working area of a pump running in turbine mode is determined with respect to maximum power. Based on the turbine characteristics is found the pump design point for which is chosen a mass-produced pump from a company catalogue.

The pump is designed with respect to the turbine mode so that it can be used for low-potential energy harvesting or energy storage. The design of the pump is assessed by numerical fluid mechanics using commercial software Ansys CFX.

Popularity and attitudes to handball in the Czech Republic

Title: Popularity and attitudes to handball in the Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of this work is to find out public attitudes to handball and perception of its popularity in the Czech republic. Within this research is also the aim to examine frequency of respondents' contact and awareness about this sport. Methods: Gaining the necessary data for processing the topic is reached by the method of electronic questioning using the questionnaire that has been created strictly for purpose of this work. Processing of theoretical base of this bachelor thesis has been carried out with help of the source study method. Results: Research has found out attitudes of general public in the Czech republic to handball and also perception of its popularity. On the basis of questioning has been discovered main factors influencing popularity of handball and also possible moves, which should serve to its increase. Title: Professional Competencies of Czech Handball Federation Staff Objectives: The aim of this work is to assemble competence profile of the Czech handball federation employee. Furthermore the goal also is to analyse the importance of perception of this profile's individual components from this institution's employees' point of view. Methods: Gathering of the necessary data for processing the topic is reached via the method of source study in order to create the competence profile. For the questioning was used the method of electronic questionnaire created strictly for the purpose of this work, and also the method of semi-structured interviews. Results: The research has provided and evaluated the list of competencies that are necessary for profession performance within Czech handball federation. Also the key competencies for particular departments of this institution were identified and the structure of this institution was described and examined.
