Collective Speech and Language Therapy Prevention at a Kindergarten for Children with Communication Disorders

The theme of the bachelors ́ thesis is collective speech and language therapy prevention at a kindergarten for children with communication disorders. The aim of the thesis was to find out and describe the process of speech and language therapy prevention. The bachelors ́ thesis consists of two main parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is composed of three chapters, the fourth chapter contains the qualitative research. The first chapter of the theoretical part describes the ontogenesis of speech and language of a child from his/her birth up to the full development of speech and language and it concentrates also on the development of speech and language within the language levels. The second chapter of the theoretical part contains information about communication disorders, especially those types that are typical for preschool children. The third chapter of the theoretical part describes the organisation of speech and language therapy prevention in the Czech Republic, the Framework Educational program for Pre- school Education and it characterises briefly the school maturity.
