Algorithms for improving the detection of selected cardiac arrhythmias
Šandová, Hana ; Ředina, Richard (referee) ; Novotná, Petra (advisor)
The work deals with the generation of ECG arrhythmias that are underrepresented in databases. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to a literature search of academic publications that deal with the classification of arrhythmia by using deep learning and data augmentation metod for ECG. The practical part of the thesis deals with noise generator, because adding noise to signals could make the dataset richer. Functions for augmentation of atrial flutter and 3rd and 2nd atrioventricular block were created. It has been tried generation of 2nd atrioventricular block using generative adversarial networks (GAN). Deep learning-based ECG classifiers were used for evaluating the efficiency of the proposed technique in generating synthetic ECG data.
Bacterial genotyping based on the oligonucleotide melting temperature
Šandová, Hana ; Škutková, Helena (referee) ; Nykrýnová, Markéta (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with genotyping based on the oligonucleotide melting temperatures. In the theoretical part, DNA, typing, experimental and theoretical genotyping methods are described. The practical part of the thesis deals with a program that is designed to calculate the melting temperatures of sequences based on different methods, and the graphical user interface was created. In the following part, the measured melting temperatures of bacterial isolates of Klebsiella pneumoniae are compared to the theoretically calculated melting temperatures. In the last part of the thesis, the possibility of genotyping using cluster analysis based on the theoretical melting temperatures is explored.

Some approaches to the conceptual development of the principles of computer programming in SCRATCH in primary and middle school aged pupils
Šandová, Hana ; Černochová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Novák, Jaroslav (referee)
TITLE: Teaching approaches to pupils' concept development about computer programming in SCRATCH AUTHOR: Bc. Hana Šandová DEPARTMENT: Department of information technology and education SUPERVISOR: Doc. RNDr. Miroslava Černochová, CSc. ABSTRACT: This thesis deals with perceptions of pupils about how computers and computer programs work. The main objective is to inquire of pupils (ISCED-2) about how computer and computer programs work, and what ideas influence them. The theoretical part focuses on the history of the use of computers in teaching and an analysis of current approaches to teaching computer science and programming in the Czech Republic and in selected European countries. The practical part is devoted to mapping concepts of pupils aged 11-14 years involved in a teaching experiment organized at two schools in Prague, the aim of which was to examine the impact of teaching programming in "Scratch" over one semester in relation to pupil's ideas about how a computer works and in terms of the development of pupil's computational thinking. KEYWORDS: pupil's imagination, algorithm, programming, computational thinking, Scratch
