Thesis Title: Birds in Kralovska obora Stromovka as an educational topic Author: Bc. Adéla Řezníčková University supervisor: PhDr. Ing. Silvie Svobodová, Ph.D. ABSTRACT The thesis explores the utilization of Královská obora Stromovka, an urban park, as a suitable location for organizing excursions and environmental educational programs focused on birds. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of zoological topics, specifically bird- related subjects, within the curriculum framework and examines their treatment in textbooks. Furthermore, the theoretical section provides a characterization of the chosen location from both historical and current perspectives, along with an overview of bird protection regulations in European and Czech legislation. The concluding portion of the theoretical part outlines excursions as an educational method and environmental education program. The primary objective of the thesis is to develop, implement, and evaluate an environmental education program that integrates students' theoretical knowledge of birds and principles of environmental education with practical learning in a natural setting, allowing students to connect with their local environment. Verbal Expressions in Japanese Corresponding to the Infinitive Mode in Czech

This dissertation deals with the verbal expressions in Japanese, which respond to infinitive constructions in Czech. Japanese does not have grammatical form corresponding with infinitive. The aim of the dissertation is therefore to find semantic equivalents on the basis of contrastive analysis and to evaluate their typicality from the point of view of frequency of repetition. The theoretical background of dissertation provides systematic description of the infinitive category and description of morphology of the Japanese verbal expressions, which were drawn up on the basis of the accumulated materials from different grammars, Czech and Japanese. The study deals with the analysis of examples as such, corresponding expressions are described in terms of their grammatical function and meaning. In the bachelor work, we came from the Czech texts translated into Japanese, in the dissertation we worked with the Japanese texts translated into the Czech language. The confrontational analysis was carried out in the opposite direction with the intention to find out to which extent the expressions are translated into Czech using the infinitive which the Japanese translators replace with the Czech infinitive.

Grammatical forms in Japanese corresponding to infinitive in Czech

Práce sleduje tyto cíle: 1. Podat syntaktickou charakteristiku infinitivu v češtině jako slovně druhové formy plnící primární a sekundární funkce při tvorbě výpovědí a textu. 2. Vytvořit korpus příkladů užití infinitivu v českém literárním textu přeloženém do japonštiny a podat přehled překladových ekvivalentů infinitivu v japonštině, která tento gramatický jev postrádá. 3. Na základě analýzy stanovit, které syntaktické funkce infinitivu jsou v českém textu frekventní a jaké jazykové prostředky použil japonský překladatel k adekvátnímu vyjádření. 4. Vyvodit konkrétní závěry pro výklad infitinivu a jeho překladu. Práce si dává za úkol sledovat charakteristiku českého textu z hlediska překladu do jazyka japonského. Jejím těžištěm budou kapitoly, v nichž jsou uvedeny překladové ekvivalenty infinitivů, porovnávány varianty a vyhodnocovány. Celkovým cílem je přispět k hlubšímu porozumění principů a kontrastů v češtině a japonštině, k objasnění problematiky překladu v českém jazyce frekventovaného jevu.
