Rostislav Čevela, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The World Health Organization defines health literacy as "... the cognitive and social skills which determine the motivation and ability of people to access, understand and use health information to support their health." At present there is a great development of information in this area, but this information is often improper and contradictory. Maternity centers with their programs, which are suitable for the development of health literacy. Since 1992, when the birth of the first in our maternity center has been a great development of these organizations. Now, the covering organization of Mothers' Centers Network, which has a motto on its website: "The hand that moves the cradle moves the world.", Brings together more than 330 maternity centers. This password can be transformed in a plane Health Literacy "Healthy Family = healthy society". Clients maternity centers become often the women already pregnant and traffic concerns mainly families with young children through grandparents, which is a suitable environment for primary prevention in a holistic approach to health. The Role of the Medical Assessment Service in the Social Security System

Medical Assessment Service significantly influences expenses of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MoLSA). Medical Assessment Service (MAS) provides assessment of state of health for benefits where a claim is derived from unfavourable health conditions (or together with other unfavourable conditions such as a social situation, financial situation, insurance participation etc.) Impact of MAS activity is of a volume of 100 miliards of CZK annually from the state budget. Passed reorganization of MAS did not solve the biggest problem and it is permanent lack of superior workers. This problem brings poor quality and efficiency of its activity. Changes in organization of MAS which will lead to solving of these problems will also lead to better quality of assessments which will be positively reflected not only in strenghtening of assurance of assessed people but also in expenses for benefits. The survey of doctors opinion about Assessment Service has shown that it is necessary to improve perception of Assessment Service . It is perceived by medical public as not very prestigious, with a lot of paperwork and with no connection with clinical medicine. Realization of health education at a chosen elementary school

This studie thesis deals with the realization of the educational subject of Health education at chosen elementary school. The aim is to determine attitudes of pupils at chosen elementary school to the educational subject Health Education and to find out how the health education was reflected in a life of pupils at the chosen elementary school and how it influenced their views and attitudes to a healthy lifestyle. The theoretical part deals with the definition of basic concepts, such as health, healthy lifestyles, health literacy. It describes in details within the RVP educational field Man and health. The practical part looks into the attitudes of students at chosen elementary school to the educational subject Health Education and their opinions and attitudes to a healthy lifestyle. Two questionnaires that are intended for children at elementary school will be made in this part. They are primarily oriented on the attitudes to the educational subject Health Education and attitudes to a healthy lifestyle. Recommendations for pedagogical practice at elementary school on the basis of results of the research, analysis of the school educational program in the field of Human and Health and theoretical knowledges are included to the work. The nutritional status is significantly influenced by changes in eating habits of entire families. The baby is not born obese, but becomes it in the course of its development, due to heredity, family educational activities, psychosocial and cultural conditions of the society in which he or she lives. Everyday improper habits of adults are also transferred into the lives of children and violations of the principles of healthy eating, lack of physical activity, lack of rest and relaxation, stress and many other factors of present is involved in the onset of many diseases and complications of health. Base on fact that there are no standardised textbooks for teaching subjects Health Education and healthy lifestyle, while neither the directive which would lead teachers in pre-school education to systematic education of children in this area, I deal in my work with the question, which are the options to learn on healthy lifestyle and how get quality information teachers themselves. The thesis looks into the health literacy of pupils at Primary school. The main aim of this work is to compare the pupils's health literacy with the computer literacy at chosen Primary school. To find out the level of knowledge, awareness, attitudes and perceptions of pupils in connection with computer and health literacy. Determine the causes of less interest in physical activities and the link between physical activity and health of pupils. The theoretical part deals with the definition of the basic concepts such as health literacy, computer literacy, healthy living, physical activity, etc… with the help of the specialized literature. This part describes the relationship between the pupil's physical activity, healthy lifestyle and health literacy. The practical part compares the level of student's knowledge in the field of computer and health literacy. It finds out the pupil's knowledge which are linked to beneficial effect of physical activities on human health, too. The thesis "A healthy lifestyle and its application in teaching practice" covers the principles of a healthy lifestyle among today̕ s secondary school students and their application in life. The author compares the differences in the healthy lifestyle of secondary school student, how they are interpreted by professionals, and compares them with the results of questionnaire conducted among pupils and their parents in the 2015/2016 school year at SŠ-COPTH (High School - Technical and Vocational Trainning Centre), Poděbradská 12, Prague 9, in the chemist operator and car mechanic fields. The conclusions that the author has come to show to what extent today̕ s secondary school students, whether studying graduation courses or apprenticeships, enjoy a healthy lifestyle and the degree of their motivation to take care of their health. Work on this topic has led the author to reflect on how to continue to reach out to young people to ensure that they maintain a healthy lifestyle. The aim of the diploma thesis is to map out the important issues that affect the lifestyles of teenagers, mainly in relation to the secondary school environment, school documents, such as ŠVP, RVP and the effects of high-risk behavior. The diploma thesis also focuses on the important aspect of this topic, the interaction teacher - pupil, the aim of this section is to document and analyze whether the students perceive their teacher's approach to a healthy lifestyle and whether it's something that personally affects them. The current approaches to the education and healthy lifestyle in the secondary school environment are documented and analyzed in the diploma thesis. The thesis focuses on the topic of changing eating habits from the time of Magdalena Dobromila Rettigová to contemporary trends of healthy lifestyle. It is a gradual development of eating from the late 18th century to the present. In the thereoretic part there is a discription of the contrast of the Czech writer's life and a present-day lifestyle. We can find a chapter about a life of Magdalena Dobromila Rettigová, background information leading up to, writing the cook book "Cooking at home", which became a convenient handbook for women, containing instructions and directions for kitchen guidance and complex advice for women how to manner as a wife, mother and patriot and also their influence on education of young girls. Next chapter deal with the development of kitchen and cooking, habits connected with dining and lifestyle of that time. In the end of the theoretic part is compared the cuisine of the first half ofthe 19 th century to contemporary eating habits and lifestyle.
