Dynamic properties of tuned branch
Čepl, Ondřej ; Kůrečka, Jan (referee) ; Habán, Vladimír (advisor)
The main part of the thesis is experimental determination of transmission in side-branch resonator. In first part are described basics of digital signal processing and sound damping in piping systems. A special attention is payed to Fourier transform. The second part deals with experimental measurement of damping in a side-branch resonator for several lengths of the resonator. The collected data were analyzed using Fourier transform with a fulfilled coherence condition. At the end of this section are shown graphs, which describe tuning frequency dependence of side-branch resonator's length. There are seven different lengths. The thesis contains comparison of theoretical and measured tuning frequencies.
Optimization in engineering problems
Čepl, Ondřej ; Popela, Pavel (referee) ; Mrázková, Eva (advisor)
This bachelor's work engages optimization and its improvement in engineering cases. There are defined basic terms and optimization's cases, basic characteristics of the optimization case are accounted and basic methods of their solutions are understated. These teoretic findings are availed by optimization of the measurements of three-bar truss, whereas there are solved two options of optimization's case. Mathematical models are implemented to programm GAMS and at the conclusion is accomplished disccusion of accomplishments.
Specifications Accounting and Reporting of Fixed Assets in the Selected Entity
Burget, Vojtěch ; Čepl, Ondřej (referee) ; Zábojová, Lenka (advisor)
The dissertation deals with issues of accounting a reporting of fixed assets of selected entities, villages. It deals with the difference in depreciation of fixed assets of the municipality, differences in depreciation methods and the impact of different types of depreciation on the transprarency of accouting.
Damping of pressure pulsations and noise reduction in pipeline systems
Čepl, Ondřej ; Pochylý, František (referee) ; Habán, Vladimír (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with pressure pulsations in pipeline system with dynamic muffler. There is presented original geometry of side-branch resonator. Pressure pulsations are solved by a created mathematical model, numerical simulations and verified by an experimental approach. The influence of dynamic and bulk viscosity is involved in derived governing equations. A system of nonlinear equations is solved by genetic algorithm and frequency dependent relationship of bulk viscosity of air is determined afterwards. The correct function of used pressure sensors is tested. The processing of experimental data is performed by the fast Fourier transform with coherent sampling. Finally, a comparison of analytical, numerical and experimental approaches is introduced for different geometric variants of presented muffler.
Optimization Rankineůva Clausius-steam cycle
Čepl, Ondřej ; Klimeš, Lubomír (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with an optimization of Rankine-Clausius steam cycle. The theoretical information about the Optimization and the Rankine-Clausius cycle are described at the beginning of the thesis. These theoretical findings are later used to create simulation models in MATLAB. Individual simulation models are variants of the ideal R-C cycle. Simulation models include the basic cycle model, the supercritical cycle and the cycle with reheat. For these models the optimal configurations are found and their t-s diagrams are plotted.
