Implementation of 5S Method in a Manufacturing Company
Čechová, Petra ; Šmída, Jaromír (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with implementation of 5S methods in company focussed on production and processing of fiberglass. The theoretical part explains the basic principles of the philosophy of Kaizen. In the practical part is designed and implemented 5S methodology in the company. In conclusion, there are evaluated the benefits of application of the used method.
Passive forms in Italian and Czech from the perspective of functional styles
Čechová, Petra ; Obstová, Zora (advisor) ; Štichauer, Pavel (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to theoretically describe periphrastic and reflexive passive in both Italian and Czech language, to establish approximate frequency of Italian periphrastic passive in different functional styles with the help of parallel corpus InterCorp (version 8) and to analyse the means of its translation into Czech. The initial theoretical part deals with a brief description of grammatical categories of verbs, then it focuses on grammatical voice and diathesis and it discuss further the differences in the notion of these terms. Subsequent chapters deal with formal aspects of the passive in both Italian and Czech, with its function and with the restrictions of its use. The last chapter describes the use of the passive in functional styles. The following practical part describes in brief InterCorp and subsequently deals with the problem of analysing the approximate frequency of periphrastic passive in the belles-lettres, newspapers and official type of texts. Finally, it analyses 200 instances of the periphrastic passive in each of the previously mentioned functional styles and it focuses on the means of its translation into Czech.
Antimicrobial Additives and their use in top Coating Paint
Čechová, Petra ; Jílek, Petr (advisor) ; Konečná, Klára (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Candidate: Petra Čechová Consultant: PharmDr. Petr Jílek, Csc. Title of Thesis: Antimicrobial additives and their use in top coating paint. Background: Evaluation of efficacy in antimicrobial photocatalytic paint designed by Synpo a.s. Pardubice Company (AMAc-1, AMAc-2, AMAc-3, AMAc-4, AMAc-5); Composition of paint unknown (we only known that paint include photocatalytic additives); Pathogen bacterial strains: E. coli, S. aureus, P. aeruginosa. Methods: Contact of microbes with antimicrobial photocatalytic paint: pre-activated with UVA-light, activated with UVA-light at the same time, non-activated with UVA-light. Main findings: Graphs show how number of CFU microbes is changing in time; Definition of efficacy (-k): negative value of tangent of line linear regression. Conclusions: Confirmation of hypothesis: grow of efficacy of antimicrobial photocatalytic paint after exposition UVA-light; Influence on fall of number microbial CFU of strain E. coli; Significant after UVA irradiation (activation); S. aureus: fluctuating of results, all the same definite fall of bacterial CFU after activation UVA-light; Most resistant to efficacy of antimicrobial paint was P. aeruginosa; Influence of...
Migration Trends in the Russian Far East
Čechová, Petra ; Šánová, Lucie (advisor) ; Žídková, Markéta (referee)
The purpose of this study is to examine migration flows in the Russian Far East. It defines regional characteristics, key migration flows, Russian migration policy specifics and interrelated geopolitical implications. Study is divided into three sections. The first two sections are both descriptive and annalistically oriented, focused on empirical dates interpretation. The third section is based on functional analysis of migration, a specific phenomenon with a potential to affect all sorts of related processes. The hypothesis is built upon the presumption that migration flows in the Russian Far East, namely the Far eastern emigration a Chinese immigration, their direct relation to the regional demographic crisis and their international character, are one of the determining aspects of the Russian migration policy, Sino - Russian relations in the Northeast Asian region, and Far eastern perspectives predictions. Problems of Verbal Aspect in Italian Passive Constructions on the Background of Czech
Čechová, Petra ; Obstová, Zora (advisor) ; Štichauer, Pavel (referee)
The topic of this thesis is the verbal aspect in its complexity. The initial theoretical part aims to compare the differences in the notion of grammatical and lexical aspect in both Italian and Czech language and to highlight the differences in related terminology. The following practical part deals with Italian periphrastic passive and its auxiliaries venire and essere from aspectual point of view based on the Czech language. It is generally assumed that at least in the present tense, passive constructions containing the auxiliary venire should be translated into Czech with higher rate of imperfective verbs than passive constructions containing the auxiliary essere. This trend should disappear when used in the simple past or the imperfect. This claim is further analyzed with the help of the parallel corpus InterCorp, version 10.

Text doprovází fotografická příloha osobní knihovny, rukopisů a vybraných knih z Čapkovy knihovny. V závěru jsou shrnuty získané poznatky.
Antimicrobial effect of agents predestined for prediction of contamination II.
Čechová, Petra ; Vacková, Jana (referee) ; Jílek, Petr (advisor)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Field: Pharmacy Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Author: Petra Čechová Supervisor: PharmDr. Petr Jílek, CSc. Title of diploma thesis: Antimicrobial effect of agents predestined for prediction of contamination II. Background: Objective of this diploma thesis is determination efficacy of antimicrobial paint designed for industrial production. Active substance of this antimicrobial paint was titanic oxide and zinc oxide respectively. Antimicrobial paints for our research were provided by Synpo a. s. Pardubice Company, we used antimicrobial paints P 41 a P 55. The second aim of this diploma thesis was the comparison of antimicrobial paints and comparison of photocatalytic activity against bacterial strains S. aureus and C. albicans. Methods: Working with UV light pre-activated antimicrobial paints (30 minutes); working with antimicrobial paints without pre-irradiation Main findings: Antimicrobial paint efficacy was determinated using dependence between time of irradiation antimicrobial paint (eventually contact time of suspension with activated antimicrobial paint) and number of CFU present in suspension of microorganisms Conclusions: We confirmed hypothesis, that antimicrobial paints have higher antimicrobial efficiency...
