English annotation The Service of the Pastoral Assistants in Archdiocese of Prague Principles of the laymen service in Church on the universal level as well as on that of particular law are discussed. In particular the problems of laymen employed in the parish framework as pastoral assistants on the level of Archdiocese Prague are focused. Especially their specific role in the parish has been followed - both on base of literature studies and of respective administration regulations of the Archdiocese of Prague. 8 ANGLICKÁ ANOTACE Summer missions of Czech Dominicans 2002-2007 The work describes the one-week summer missions of Czech Dominicans which took place in the years 2002-2007 in several places of the Czech Republic. The thesis examines the need for the missions, their contents, and the theoretical background based on church documents. It discusses the reasons for the missions in the Czech Republic, the preparation of the missions, as well as the formation and education of the missionaries. The work documents the process of the mission, the community life of the missionaries, and the areas of their work. Chidlren's knowlegde of Christianity in Švabinský Basic School in Sokolov

Resume Thesis title: Children's Knowledge of Christianity in the Švabinského Basic School in Sokolov Author: Olga Jandejsková The thesis is focused on the problems of children's knowledge in the selected basic school, located in the Czech Republic, in an environment which did not follow the roots of Christianity after World War II and in particular during the communist totality. The environment is indifferent to the influence of Christian belief. The selected school is situated in West Bohemia. The school in which the research was done is the Švabinského Basic School in Sokolov. The goal of the thesis is to establish the knowledge of children in the Švabinského Basic School in Sokolov. The thesis is divided into four sections. In the first section, the environment in which the school is located is described. The second section concentrates on the questionnaire which the pupils completed. The questionnaire contained questions based on catechism of the Catholic Church. In the third section the manner in which the questionnaire was distributed to the children is described, as well as children's reactions when they were given the questionnaire. ANGLICKÁ ANOTACE Marriage preparation based on experiential education This thesis deals with the current view of marriage on both the natural and the spiritual levels from the standpoint of tradition as well as the teachings of the Church. The present day crisis of traditional marriage increases the need of engaged couples to undergo appropriate marriage preparations before taking such a vitally important step. This thesis offers a schema of things in the form of preparatory lectures, which is nowadays used. However, as a fitting adjunct to this rather intellectually focused form of marriage preparation, the method of experiential education is also recommended. This method tries to inspire a person through the form of reflected experiences leading to the change of attitudes, self-reflection and direct personal experience. The disruption of the existing comfort zone of living and experiencing undermines the well-established sense of security and leads quite spontaneously to the much needed widening of the person's perception. Dramaturgically successfully orchestrated experiential activity may bring the engaged couple closer to finding answers to the basic questions in relation to the contemplated marriage and may ideally also strengthen the bond between them. Education of Religion at the Conservatory of Jan Deyl English annotation The goal of this work is to handle the issue of religious education at the Conservatory of Jan Deyl in Prague given the type of students and the specific conditions of the school and study on it. Tradition of teaching blind people from ancient times to the present shows understanding of social change in relation to disadvantaged fellow citizens. Specific profile of the school Jan Deyl Conservatory in Prague and its students was formed gradually in the light of the company until today. The school now produces graduates capable of concert and teaching activities. However, their possibilities are still limited with regard to their visual and sometimes combined disabilities. This disability can sometimes be largely offset by the various tools that can greatly assist in teaching of religion. Due to the personal situation of students is very important personality of teachers of religion. The Conception of The Parish After The Second Vatican Council Tomas van Zavrel This thesis deals with the conception of the parish after the second Vatican council. Its aim is to describe chat kind of parish concept emanates from the documents of the last council and how this conception was developer in various church documents thereafter. It puts this conception into a historical context with emphasis on the period after the 19th century. Three views on the parish are presented: pastoral sociological, pastoral dogmatic and pastoral legal. The basic functions of the parish are unfolded from today's perspective and finally several models of parish concepts are presented. The application of pastoration and catechization for the resocialisation of prisoners

Resume In this diploma work I concern the practical usage of the pastorational ministry to the imprisoned persons during the process of their resocialisation. The diploma work solves the cooperation of the pastoration, and in its frame also of the catechesis, and how it is follow up with the special treatment programs lead by specialist from the penological service. The work also proves the evidence of the history of the prison chaplains and their cooperation with the prison workers at the resocialisation of the prisons. We also state the legislative basis of various levels that are necessary for this ministry, further we define basic conceptions of this work. In the practical part of the diploma work we describe the extent and the way of practical pastorational activities of clerics and also the forms of their work with specialists. We also research the practical realisation of the catechesis and its forms in the conditions of the Czech prisons. The main aim of the work is to prepare prison chaplains at the cooperation with the specialists on the fulfilment of the punishment purpose, which is the resocialisation of the prisoners. Název diplomové práce: KATEGORIÁLNÍ PASTORACE PRO POLITIKY Autor: Jan KASAL 2010 RESUMÉ Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl odpovědět na dvě základní otázky: 1) Jsou křesťané působící v politice a ve veřejných funkcích specifickou kategorií Božího lidu, pro kterou by bylo užitečné vytvořit nějaký speciální typ kategoriální pastorace? 2) V případě, že by této skupině křesťanů byla kategoriální pastorace k užitku, jaké pastorační strategie by měly být použity? Odpověď na první otázku lze nalézt v úvodních kapitolách práce. Na několika vybraných historických úsecích je dokumentováno, jak se církev jako instituce postupně emancipovala od mocenských státních struktur (byť leckdy tomu bylo i naopak). Dále je popsána a zdokumentována dlouhá cesta zvyšování nároků na laiky se zdůrazněním jejich nyní už nezastupitelného místa nositelů a hlasatelů sociálního učení církve. ANGLICKÁ ANOTACE Diploma work Jana Majerčíková English annotation Inspiration of spirituality of Saint Vincenc de Paul for today's evangelization The thesis deals with the spirituality of Saint Vincenc de Paul, the need for evangelization today and also shows inspiration of this spirituality for today's evangelization. The first part is devoted to the topic of evangelization, the causes of its need and the calls for evangelization in the documents of 2nd Vatican council. The spirituality and charisma are explained in the second part which also introduces the personalities of Vincenc de Paul a Luisa de Marillac together with historical background that influenced their spirituality. The third part deals with the foundation of the province and its works. This part also includes the topic of the poverty in the Czech Republic. The fourth part describes the concrete application of the spirituality of St. Vincenc de Paul in the field of evangelization.
