Privacy protection in cloud
Chernikau, Ivan ; Smékal, David (referee) ; Dzurenda, Petr (advisor)
In the Master’s thesis were described privacy protection problems while using cloud technologies. Some of the problems can be solved with help of homomorphic encryption, data splitting or searchable encryption. These techniques were described and compared by provided security, privacy protection and efficiency. The data splitting technique was chosen and implemented in the C language. Afterwards a performance of the implemented solution was compared to AES encryption/decryption performance. An application for secured data storing in cloud was designed and implemented. This application is using the implemented data splitting technique and third-party application CloudCross. The designed application provides command line interface (CLI) and graphical user interface (GUI). GUI extends the capabilities of CLI with an ability to register cloud and with an autodetection of registered clouds. The process of uploading/downloading the data to/from cloud storage is transparent and it does not overload the user with technical details of used data splitting technique.
Traffic detection and analysis using SSL/TLS
Hutar, Jan ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Smékal, David (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a detection and analysis of secure connections of electro- nic communication through SSL/TLS protocols. The thesis begins with introduction to SSL/TLS protocols. Thereafter, an analysis of messages used to establish secure con- nections using STARTTLS and postal protocols SMTP, POP3, and IMAP was made. Metadata detection and extraction of secured simplex and duplex connections take place using deep packet inspection tools. The tool of choice is the nDPI library from the Ntop project. The library was extended to detect the connections and extract the metadata based on studies and analysis of transmitted messages. Finally, testing is performed on a training data set and a basic analysis of acquired metadata is made.

Generator of illegitimate network traffic
Blažek, Ondřej ; Smékal, David (referee) ; Blažek, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the problems of DoS/DDoS attacks and development of a tool, in C lanugage, for generating them. In the first chapter the principles of DoS attacks targeting the internet and transport layers of ISO/OSI model are described and also according to their characteristics divided. Selected attacks on the application layer are also described here in detail togehter with protocols which they are based on. In the following chapter there has been created a comparison of freely available tools, which could be used as a attack generators. The practical part is dedicated to a development of a tool for DoS attacks, especially design, general description and usage. Further there is a summary of the newly created library, including results of web server testing, and extensions of a web interface, which is part of the developed tool.
Possibilities of physical therapy in females with muscular dysbalances of the type of the upper crossed syndrome
Tetřevová, Eva ; Smolíková, Libuše (advisor) ; Smékal, David (referee)
Upper-crossed syndrome is, according to Janda, described as a muscle imbalance in the upper part of the body, which significantly affects function of the cervical spine, the thoracic spine and the shoulder girdle. The non-physiological function and the position in these parts further influence, above all, respiratory stereotype - upper breathing - and body statics. Therapy is based on influencing the deep stabilizing system, followed by a therapy focused on the place of malfunction and the kinesiology count. Therapy of deep stabilization system complex infuences breath and postural function in their mutual coordination and it is program-controlled by CNS. Importance of close connection of breath and postural functions ensues from the fact, that respiratory muscles participate in internal stabilization with deep spinal muscles. The influence of therapy by Vojta reflex locomotion method on functional abilities of immobile seniors
Černá, Gabriela ; Smékal, David (advisor) ; Zounková, Irena (referee)
This project assesses effects of four -week active rehabilitation combined with Vojta reflex stimulation on mobility of bed-bound seniors. Sixteen female patients were divided into two groups of eight members, i.e. tested group and control group. Both groups were put through training focused on self-support, maintaining or enhancement of range of movement, strengthening of weak muscle groups, stability training, practicing sitting up and lying down from sitting position, and walking in the high walking frame in the case of stronger patients. Besides that the tested group underwent Vojta reflex stimulation (global model of reflex turning), coordination and stability exercise and exercise with rehabilitation tools (elastic band, over ball, small ball, water bottle). In the beginning and in the end of the project the EMS (Elderly Mobility Scale), BI (Barthel Index), and MMSE (Mini-mental State Examination) scales were tested as well as ability to turn from back to side and stability in the sitting position. Statistical comparability of both groups was proved true in the beginning of the therapy by Mann-Whitney test. There was a noticeable tendency towards higher probability of enhancing measured scores in the tested group compared to the control group after the therapy. In case of the EMS this probability was...
The effect of gait training with a prosthesis on stability and parameters in patients with thigh amputation
Tučková, Tereza ; Smékal, David (advisor) ; Kálal, Jan (referee)
Diploma thesis "Effect of gait school with prosthesis on stability and walking parameters of patients after transfemoral amputation deals with problems of patients after transfemoral amputation due to vascular etiology. It mentions elementary knowledge of rehabilitation after amputation of lower extremity. Furthermore, there are described main complications that amputation brings into the patient ́s life: pain associated with amputation, skin complications and psychological hardships. Emphasis is laid on gait and gait practice for patients with amputation. I further deal with deviations commonly observed on gait of these patients and with factors influencing the gait, including the influence of particular parts of the prosthesis on patients ́ gait. The practical part is dedicated to comparison of two different approaches to gait practice. The effect of these approaches is evaluated on the basis of results of two groups of patients. The results were gathered by examination on force plate, measurement of gait velocity, examination of gait cadence and evaluation of patients ́s gait videos. Furthermore, I use functional tests: LCI - 5, ABIS - R, ABC scale and PEQ. All of these examinations were performed at the beginning and in the end of patients ́ stay at the Clinic of rehabilitation in Hradec Králové. The...
Assessing the influence of constitutional hypermobility on postural stability
Zadražilová, Tereza ; Smékal, David (advisor) ; Čakrt, Ondřej (referee)
The thesis "Judging the influence of constitutional hypermobility on postural stability" focuses on the problem of constitutional hypermobility (CH) and the influence of joint instability on stability mechanisms. The aim of the research was to find out whether there is a difference in stability mechanisms with tested subjects with CH and without it. Furthermore, the research focuses on the influence of mobility techniques on postural stability by the means of chosen tests carried out on Balance Master® System platform. The tested sample includes 14 women aged from 20 to 28, 7 women with constitutional hypermobility and 7 women as a control group. 6 tests were chosen for the measurement on Balance Master® platform. 2 static tests: modified Clinical Test of Sensory Interaction on Balance (mCTSIB), Unilateral Stance (US), and 4 dynamic tests: Limits of Stability (LOS), Rhytmic weight shift (RWS), Step Up Over (SUO) a Forward Lunge (FL). We compared the medians of output values of individual tests. It was assumed that subjects with KH would have significantly worse test results than the control group. Furthermore, it was supposed that the mobilization processes cause stability disturbance on the basis of cancellation of compensational , thus protective block in comparison with KS.
