Career achievements of junior swimmers

Title Career achievements of junior swimmers. Goal The goal of this thesis is to follow a development of swimmers' performance. The research focuses on the age in which swimmers reach the highest level of performance and it is trying to discover whether their career continues till their adulthood. The study group consisted of swimmers who were members of Czech Junior Representation from 1999 to 2004. The results of each swimmer in the study group were followed from the beginning of their career till the end. Method Data for this research were obtained from statistical materials and publications. In addition various computer programs were utilized to process the collected information in order to achieve the research goal of this thesis. Results (Conclusion) The data used for the study show that junior swimmers reach the peak of their performance in their adolescent years. Problems Connected with the Teaching of the Biology of the Human at Primary and Secondary Schools

Biologie člověka pojednává o všech stránkách života člověka, které vyplývají z jeho biologické podstaty a nepřesahují významněji do oblasti duchovní a sociální. Jedná se proto o obor velmi široký, jehož rozsah a hranice mohou být chápány různě (Novotný, Hruška 1999). Jakou metodu a formu výuky přírodopisu a biologie učitel zvolí, záleží na něm samotném. Ve své diplomové práci jsem se zaměřila na velmi účinnou metodu projektového vyučování, která vede к motivaci nejen žáky, ale i učitele. Vede děti к získávání vědomostí, к aktivnímu přístupu к učení i к uplatnění se v rámci kolektivu. Především proto bych doporučovala zařazovat tento typ výuky do učebních osnov častěji. Neustále se zdůrazňuje propojení školy s realitou života a právě projektové vyučování výuku životní realitě přibližuje nejvíce. Toto propojení výuky potvrzuji vytvořením školního projektu "Srdce" aneb konferencí o prevenci kardiovaskulárních chorob určený pro 8. třídu základní školy. The Swimming Event 100m Butterfly in the Period 1957 - 2005

Title: Swimming event of 100 meter butterfly in the period from 1957 to 2005. Objective of the research: The objective of this research is to monitor the development of butterfly stroke in the 100 meter event in both males and females during international competitions completed in 50meter pool in the period from 1957 to 2005. Methodology: Source data for conducting the result part of the thesis were obtained through the historical methods and through researching documents. Obtained data were elaborated with basic statistical analysis and then evaluated by graphs and tables. The main sources were the results from international competitions such as the Olympic Games, World Championships and also FINA annual reports from 1983 to 2005. Results: Presented results show chronological overview of development in the World Records, performance trends and other characteristics related to the researched event. The Four-Year Olympic Cycle of a Top Performance Swimmer

Name: The four-year olympic cycle of a terminal swimmer. Objective: The objective of the research is to appreciate the external training loading condition and the development of the effeciency during the four-year olympic cycle 1996-2000 of the Slovak representative in swimming, Miroslav Machovič. Method: In this research there were used the methods of the literary studies, analise of the recording documents and interview with the object of the research. Discovered data in a illative part were used in a tabular and graphic figuration. Results: Presented results give the outline about regulating and structure of the individual training loading condition in higher stage of the sport training and development of the individual effeciency. Evaluation of Marketing Communication

The paper focuses on the issues of the marketing communication. The main goal of the paper is to suggest recommandation for the improvement of the marketing communication of the company Cajova kvetina s.r.o. (Ltd) with a focus on Matcha Tea product. The theory part delimits the terms marketing, marketing mix and the marketing communication. Later there is the preparation of the effective marketing communication defined. The practical part analyses the marketing mix with a focus on marketing communication of Matcha Tea product followed by a survay research in the form of personal questioning. The result shows that 37 per cent of the respondents are aware of the existence of Matcha Tea product, 81 per cent of them has already tried it, and 87 per cent of those are satisfied. In the conclusion part there is an evaluation of the returnability of the discount coupons that received all the respondents after filling in the questionaire. The 15% discount coupon for one packaging of Matcha Tea + shaker is used by 29% ofrespondents. Based on the questionaire research it is suggested and recommanded to improve marketing communication for Matcha Tea product. The primary goal of the suggestion is the increase of the Matcha Tea sales by 10% during the following six months and the secondary goal is the increased visibility on the market. In order to reach these goals, the following models of marketing communication were chosen: personal selling, sales promotion, word-of-mouth marketing, interactive marketing and advertising.

Evaluation of managers' work in company

The Disertation target is to analyze ČS lower degree manager´s skills, role and functions in subsegment Mass market designated for private clients. This work talks about basic theoretical concepts as manager, it´s roles and functions which used to be required. Firstly, based on theoretical studies, above mentioned concepts and it´s characters were described related to bank sector conditions. It´s focused to define basic manager´s functions and roles, like planning, organising, human resources, leadership and control. In the practical part empiric survey was realised and it´s results were presented using graphs and charts together with recommended changes leading to improve current situation in the company.

The main target of this thesis is the formulation of alternatives business strategy of a company Modrá pyramida stavební spořitelna. The theoretical part of thesis is processed throught a literature review on the chosen topic. In the practical part of thesis there are used analyzes of internal and external enviroment. At the end of the thesis is mentioned synthesis of all gained findings and in simplification SWOT matrix are deduce possible alternatives of business strategy. Companies are advised to focus more on the weaknesses through using strenghts and opporunities of the comapany.

Business Strategy Formulation

The main goal of this thesis is to analyze the inner and outer environment of a given company and to formulate a concrete strategy using the methods of strategic management. In the theoretical part of the thesis the most important terms of strategic management are presented. In the practical part of the thesis a situation analysis is done, using the stakeholder analysis, PEST analysis, Porter's five forces analysis, analysis of strategy maps, identification of sources and competencies and analysis of competitiveness. Synthesis of the partial outcomes of the different analyses is provided by SWOT analysis.
The chosen organization has been found to be weakly competitive. After taking into consideration the positive development of the czech economy and other opportunities from the outer environment it is recommended to enlarge the spectrum of available services and to eliminate the other organization's weaknesses. Also the individual strategic goals and other recommendations are outlined. The formulated strategy is a development of the existing products in the current market.

Evaluation of managers functions

This thesis deals with the evaluation of managers functions in the company KARSIT Holding, s. r. o. Theoretical bases constitute of reference books research, which includes the concepts of management, manager, managers roles and managers functions. Distribution of managers functions is based on the concept of authors Harold Koontz and Heinz Weihrich relating to planning, organizing, human resources, leadership and control. The practical part focuses on monitoring managers of middle management and their time planning individual functions and activities. Observations were made with the project manager and manager of purchasing and logistics. In the form were recorded the same and different activities within each managers functions. The result was that the project manager spent the most time on planning on the contrary the manager of purchasing and logistics focuses the most on organizing. Primary data were obtained based on the survey to subordinates and individual interviews with managers. The questionnaires and the interviews were compiled from questions relating to the managers functions and company KARSIT Holding, s. r. o.
An important finding in the company is a lack of motivation for the employees and so is that the company doesnt use information system. Based on the evaluation results were suggested improvements. The main improvement for the company is assembling incentive program that was consulted with a HR agency based in Pardubice region. The second substantial improvement is proposal of developing a information system.

Using external sources in process of employees recruitment

At the beginning of the theoretical part, the diploma thesis deals with the concept of the human resources. In subsequent chapters characterize the progress of recruitment, together with internal and external sources of the workers, followed by the principle of selection of employees and the most common methods. The practical part consists of an analysis of current advertising options, complemented by questionnaires and verification of hypothesis. The goal of the thesis is to determine the current state of the use of social networks for recruitment and resolve whether they are able to replace the use of job portals. In terms of verification of the hypothesis was confirmed that there is no difference between recruiters who use social networks every day in personal life and those who use them several times a month. There was also confirmed that there was a statistically significant difference in the use of social networking HR aged 18-34 years and 35-54 years. The latest statistics confirmed the hypothesis that there is no difference in use of social networking for recruiters in large and small companies.
