Physical laboratory exercise preparing by using of educational system PASCO
DVOŘÁK, Jiří
The thesis is the preparation of practice of mechanics in physics lessons with the use of the educational system Pasco. At the beginning, there is a concise introduction with the educational systems; specifically the description of the Pasco system and description of individual sensors from basic set of sensors for physics, some of them are used in the implementation of laboratory tasks. This part also includes the Control software, Pasco DataStudio and the possibilities of further processing of the values using a spreadsheet. Next part of thesis deals with measurement methods, measurement errors and processing of measurement results in measurement protocol. The following section contains a design of four tasks of mechanics. Each task contains an introductory section, the design of laboratory workout, the process of construction measuring system, assignment, worksheet and procedure for resolving task. The first two tasks are focused on friction, the third task deals with the movement of the point on the circle and the last, the fourth role is focused on the motion of a body on an inclined plane. As part of the Annex are elaborated protocols of individual measurements and photographic documentation of the production process of measuring sets. In the conclusion there are evaluated results of individual measurements, which are based on practical verification in physics lessons at Secondary Technical School of Mechanical and Civil Engineering in Tabor.
Microstructure Stability and Creep Behaviour of Alloys Processed by ECAP
Dvořák, Jiří ; Král, Petr ; Svoboda, Milan ; Kvapilová, Marie ; Sklenička, Václav
Coarse-grained binary Cu and Al alloys were processed by equal-channel angular pressing (ECAP) in order to evaluate the effect of severe plastic deformation on the thermal stability of resulting ultrafine-grained microstructure after ECAP followed by creep loading of the pressed alloys. ECAP was conducted at room temperature with a die that had an internal angle of 90° between the two parts of the channel. The subsequent extrusion passes were performed by route Bc. Microstructure of samples up to 12 ECAP passes was characterized by transmission electron microscope (TEM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with the electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) unit. Constant load creep tests in tension were performed at 0.3 - 0.5 Tm and at different applied stresses. It was found that the creep behaviour is influenced by high-angle grain boundaries created by ECAP and creep fracture occurred along the shear bands which are situated near shear plane of the last ECAP pass.
The Use of Autoregulation in the Management of Organizations
Kressl, Josef ; Kovář, František (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jiří (referee)
Institutional organizations are characterized by countless states and processes which take different values over time. This behaviour expressed by a change is a response to impulses and dynamics of external as well as internal environment. The changes may take different character, some of them can have a negative or almost destructive effect and therefore it is necessary to prevent such states. An adequate tool for reduction of these negative processes is management representing fundamental methods and activities for administration of an organization. Since the interpretation of the word management is broad, the main goal of the paper is to find such a concept of administration, which is not only a set of isolated activities, but puts facts into context. Such defined concept should adequately signalize possible changes of a state and evaluate them before they lead to cumulative and synergistic effects. A particular solution is seen in the autoregulation of an organization, which mainly on the principle of causal dependence and feedback can determine its further behaviour. This phenomenon may be considered common with open systems but for the purpose of this paper it is necessary to identify if it is possible to organize a system so that it is able to provide feedback expected and also if it is able to adapt the system in time. In order to fulfil the goals stated above some organisational principles have been formulated. They enable organizations to make use of autoregulation on the basis of available information of theoretical as well as practical nature. Then this concept is applied in a specific environment of an institutional organization and then it is verified if autoregulational mechanisms can effectively not only support and maintain a state of an organization if adequately arranged, but also activate a continuous process of a change, which have been demonstrated in practical applications.
Influence of Microstructure Instability on Creep Behaviour of UFG Pure Materials
Král, Petr ; Dvořák, Jiří ; Svoboda, Milan ; Kvapilová, Marie ; Sklenička, Václav
Experiments were conducted to determine an effect of creep temperature on creep behaviour of pure Cu. The ECAP pressing was performed at room temperature by route Bc. Constant load creep tests in tension were conducted at 373-573 K under different stresses. The values of the stress exponent n of the minimum creep rate for ultrafine-grained (UFG) and coarse-grained material were determined. Microstructure of samples was characterized by transmission electron microscope (TEM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with the electron backscatter unit (EBSD). The microstructure analyses showed that microstructure of pure Cu processed by 8 ECAP passes and subsequent creep exposure contained large fraction of boundaries with coincidence sites lattice (CSL). The results showed that creep in UFG materials is influenced by additional creep mechanisms up to 0.5 Tm when the UFG microstructure in more or less stable.
Influence of Heterogeneity of Microstructure on Creep Behaviour of SPD Metals
Král, Petr ; Dvořák, Jiří ; Kvapilová, Marie ; Svoboda, Milan ; Sklenička, Václav
The methods of severe plastic deformation enable a production of bulk metals with the submicrometer or even nanometer grain size. Experiments were conducted to determine an effect of equal-channel angular pressing (ECAP) on the creep behavior of pure metal. The ECAP deformation was performed at room temperature by route Bc. Constant load creep tests in tension were conducted at 373 K under different stresses. The values of the stress exponent n of the minimum creep rate for ultrafine-grained material were determined. Microstructure of samples was characterized by scanning electron microscope equipped with the electron backscatter diffraction unit. Heterogeneity of microstructure was evaluated by coefficient of variation CVa. It was found that the fracture behavior in UFG materials is influenced by GBS, formation of mesoscopic shear bands and cavitation.

SW Support and maintenance: Extension of onthology about COE concept, simplification of effort estimation
Marounek, Petr ; Toman, Prokop (advisor) ; Stecker, Ladislav (referee) ; Dvořák, Jiří (referee) ; Slabý, Antonín (referee)
Effective implementation (in terms of time, cost, utilization of human resources, etc.) of information systems operation is a strategic issue in today's time when business processes are integrally aligned with the informatics. Currently, costs associated with software support and maintenance represent more than 90% of total costs. Software maintenance is a set of activities needed for cost-effective support of IT solution. IS / IT Center of excellence (COE) do not cover the area of software support and maintenance, there is no formalized methodology or procedural framework for COE for support and maintenance -- in reality, it means missing processes and procedures for creating it, management and evaluation of it. Moreover, there are missing recommendation about organization structure, services to be provided and overall continuous improvement. Therefore author proposes his own solution by definition and implementation of center of excellence for support and maintenance and its sub-centers of excellence for support and maintenance of particular applications. Current ontology of support and maintenance does not capture the necessary components and links -- namely missing management, planning and effort estimation views. Therefore author proposes his redefinition and enrichment of ontology of organizational structure about elements of competence and sub-competence center, typology of tasks (management, maintenance), and their management - estimating, planning and realization. In his work, Magne Jorgensen formulated conclusions that 83 to 84% of all estimation is done by pure expert estimates and estimating models are not used basically due to their complexity. Based on extending PERT formula about quality of estimator and historical experience, author introduced his simplified, easy to use approach to effort estimation in software maintenance. Both introduced formulas were verified in sub-competence center for supporting mortgage IS with significantly better result than only pure PERT estimate (98.8% and 91.8% against pure PERT 90.1%). In conclusion, author discusses the benefits of the implementation of center of excellence for support and maintenance and sub-centers of excellence for support and maintenance of particular applications, and overall fulfilling of thesis scope.
