The Computer Game Inspired by a Desk Game
Mikuláštík, David ; Lojda, Jakub (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with a transformation of a board game to a computer game and its implementation. Its summarizes rules of original game and discusses about issues of transformation them to rules of the computer game. It describes practical aspects of implementation and usage of design patterns. It evaluates feedback and design further development of the game.
C++ Implementation of FPNN
Skalník, Marek ; Lojda, Jakub (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with implementation of a simulator of neural networks in FPNN. In the thesis is analyzed the functioning of neural networks, implementation in hardware and FPNN. There is analyzed design implementation and the actual implementation of the simulator using multiple threads.
An Application for Creative Writing
Magdolen, Patrik ; Podivínský, Jakub (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis deals with the design and the implementation of the application, supposed to support comfortable writing of prose and offer helpful features like a management of chapters, characters and notes. It is able to automatically detect titles of chapters and names of characters in text. Application also offers other functions assisting the writer, including a name generator and an ability to set goals. The application includes multilingual multiplatform modern and personalizable GUI, which focuses on aesthetic, practicality and lucidity. Results of a usage of the application are exported into output file of various types.
Acceleration of Applications Using Specialized Instructions
Mikó, Albert ; Krčma, Martin (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
The design of specialized instructions for application specific processors is a challenging task. This thesis describes the issues of effective specification and use of specialized instructions for optimization of applications. It focuses on improvements of the outputs and usability of the semiatomatic method of selection of specialized instructions to allow the optimization of complicated applications. This method combines manual selection of instructions by marking a section of source code in the application and automatic generation of the instruction description in the modelling language.
C++ Implementation of FPNN Structures
Pánek, Richard ; Čekan, Ondřej (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the design and the C++ implementation of the Field Programmable Neural Networks (FPNNs) simulator. It briefly introduces the concept of artificial neural networks as it is the base of the FPNN concept. It presents the concept formal definitions and its calculation methods. The thesis also describes the special features of the FPNNs and the differences between the FPNNs and the classic neural networks. Furthermore, it deals with models of fault tolerant FPNNs. All the presented principles are used as the base of the developed implementation and the subsequent experiments.
Various File Systems Used on Different Storage Devices
Bortlová, Pavlína ; Krčma, Martin (referee) ; Lojda, Jakub (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with storing data on various storage devices, namely on the HDD, SSD, flash drives, SD cards. In the teoretical part are discussed principles of functions storage media and data storage structure through various file system. In the practical part was measured read and write speeds selected combinations of file systems (FAT, NTFS, XFS, ext4, btrfs, exFAT, JFFS, F2FS) and storage devices (HDD, SSD, flash drive, sd card).
Acceleration of Neural Networks in FPGA
Krčma, Martin ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kaštil, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with an acceleration of neural networks, which are implemented into the fi eld programmable gate arrays. Two di fferent hardware implementation are presented and compared with each other and confronted with the software implementation. The tools for easy implementation of neural networks in FPGAs are introduced.
Acceleration of Neural Networks in FPGA
Krčma, Martin ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Kaštil, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with a training of the FPNN structures. It focuses on the ways of direct conversion of the pretrained arti cial neural networks to FPNNs. This is useful when original training data set is not reachable.
Accelerated Neural Networks
Flax, Michal ; Zachariášová, Marcela (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with neural network simulation and the Backpropagation algorithm. The simulation is accelerated using the OpenMP standard. The application is also able to modify the structure of neural networks and thus simulate their non-standard behavior .
Design of coffee grinder
Krčma, Martin ; Buganská, Tamara (referee) ; Ondra, Martin (advisor)
Subject of this bachelor thesis is desing of a coffee grinder. This product is studied from historical, technical and designer points of view. Then, based on the completed analysis, a new product is designed, one that meets ergonomical, technical, aestetic and social requirements.
