Financing of Olympic Games in Prague in 2016 or 2020

Diplomová práce se zabývá financováním olympijských her a vychází z kandidatury Prahy pro hry v roce 2016 nebo 2020. První část práce popisuje olympijské hry, zainteresované orgány v jejich přípravě a financování her v minulosti. Ve druhé části práce analyzuji financování sportu v České republice a investice nutné pro pořádání olympijských her. Ve třetí části pak shrnuji rizika mající za následek zvýšení celkových nákladů a způsoby jak se jim vyhnout nebo je eliminovat. Annotation The diploma thesis is dealing with financing of the Olympic Games and is based on the bid of the city of Prague for the Games in 2016 or 2020. The first part of the thesis describes the Olympic Games, bodies involved in their preparation and financing of the Games in the past. In the second part I analyze fmancing ofthe sport in Czech Republic and investments needed for hosting the Olympic Games. ln the third part of the thesis I summarize the risks leading to increasing total costs and some ways how to avoid or eliminate them.
The reflection kinesiology analyse of cross country skiing

Title: The reflection kinesiology analyse of cross country skiing Purposes: To compare coordination of chosen muscles on leg during reflection of cross country skiing classic technique, skating and herringbone. Methods: Comparative analysis: the dates were measured by surface electromyography and 2-D video-analysis. Results: We founded statistical significance by comparisons muscle activation on right leg during kick during cross country skiing: classic technique, diagonal stride and herringbone and V-1 skating and herringbone. In case the left leg the statistical significance was disprove by: m. peroneus longus sin during comparison of diagonal stride and herringbone and m. gastrocnemius medialis sin V-1 skating and herringbone. We founded high level of laterality of diagonal stride and herringbone. In case V-1 skating, the significant similarity was not founded for m. vastus lateralis and m. gluteus medialis. Stanislav Mokry, Ph.D. This bachelor thesis deals with influence of furniture catalogs on consumer decision making. Its aim is to evaluate current catalogs and evaluate their impact on consumers. Part of this is research into consumer behavior when purchasing furniture. This work uses eye-tracking research and in-depth interviews. The catalogs are modified in various ways and eye-tracking research evaluates the change of attention over the original form of the catalog. In-depth interviewing primarily serves to understand the consumer's purchasing decisions about furniture. On the basis of the results obtained, recommendations for practice are presented.
Design of Freeflight Helmet

This diploma thesis describes a redesign process of a flight helmet designated to open air flying. The design solution of this sophisticated equipment focuses primarily on safety, low total weight, excellent ergonomics and the best possible sound insulation. In this case, two-way radio communication and mobile phone connectivity are also very important aspects of the final product. The task is based on real demands of the Czech paramotors and aircraft equipment producer - Nirvana Systems s.r.o. Therefore this thesis doesn’t deal only with the aesthetic appearance of the new flight helmet, but it also fully reflects all technical, production and economic aspects.
Multifunctional building in Pelhřimov

The diploma thesis deals with a project of a new multifunctional building in Pelhřimov. The object is composed by four above-ground and one underground floor. Commercial premises are located on the first above-ground floor. These premises consist of a travel agency, bakery, bookshop and sports outfitters. Two individual administrative premises can be found on the second floor. Eight flats were designed on the third and the fourth above-ground floor. On each of these floors, there are four flats; two of them were designed as two-bedroom and two of them as three-bedroom flat. A common area and a row garage can be found on the underground floor. The construction system of the object is a combination of reinforced concrete frame and a masonry system. The object is roofed with a warm flat roof with a typical sequence of layers.
Detached house with a tool rental in Havlíčkův Brod

This bachelor thesis deals with the project of a detached house with a tool hire in Havlíčkův Brod. The detached house is intended for a four-member family. It has one basement and two above-ground floors. The tool hire is designed as a single-storey unit which enables access of disabled people. The external load-bearing structure of the basement is designed of permanent formwork blocks complemented with thermal insulation. The external wall of the above-ground part of the project is designed of clay blocks complemented with a contact thermal insulation system according to ETICS. The horizontal load-bearing structures are projected of ceiling clay blocks and ceramic-concrete beams. The whole building is roofed with a warm flat roof with a screed to fall of thermal insulation.

Title: Analysis of the sporting achievements of young Czech athletes at the European Olympic Youth Festivals (EYOF) and Youth Olympic Games (YOG) following their participation and sports results at Olympics Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis is to process an overview of the participation and sports results of young Czech athletes at the EYOF and YOG, followed by analysis and statistical evaluation how these athletes got on in competitions of the Olympic Games Methods: Because of the specific topic, structure of the whole thesis and used methods had to be customized to our needs. First two subsections of the analytical part are kind of descriptive-analytic research, therefore it is theoretical work. Other subsections contain statistical-analysis and explanation of the obtained data. This part of the work is based on a secondary analysis of data, and thus it is a research method of qualitative research. Results: In the first part of analytic section we processed on overview of the participation of young athletes and their sport results at the EYOF and YOG between the years 1991 and 2015. Based on this overview we searched for athletes who participated both, EYOG or YOG and Olympics. After that we processed this results as well. Institutional structure of sport in the Czech republic

Title: Institutional structure of sport in the Czech republic Objectives: The main goal of this project is to evaluate current role of the Czech Sport Union and the Czech Olympic Commitee and their position in the structure of czech sport environment. The second goal is, on the basis of research, to suggest a new concept of the institutional structure of sport in the Czech republic and at the same time considering the importance of scientific and educational center. Methods: In this project, there was used a qualitative method of research - in-depth interview, which was completed by semi-structured questionnaire. As well as a method of text analysis was applied. Case study served as a certain source of secondary data too. Results: Recommendations and proposals for improvement of situation of the czech sport environment represent the main output. Transcriptions of in-depth interviews placed in appendix are considered as a significant results as well. This thesis is going to be submitted to all of respondents with the aspiration to inform the whole sport environment about current situation in the czech sport area. System development and training of employees in the selected organization

The aim of this thesis entitled "System of development and training of employees in the selected company" is an analysis of education and development of employees in the company XY. In the work is used fictive company name XY to preserve the anonymity of the organization. The work is divided into two parts. The first part ( one third of total volume ) is focused on theory. The remaining part is practical work, which is targeted on the specific analysis of the company XY. The theoretical part aims at clarifying the possible approaches to company training and development of its employees, further at objectives and functions of education, region and method development and education, and finally at systematic training cycle. The practical part is focused not only on an analysis of the process of education and development of employees in the company XY, but also to get feedback from the employees themselves. To obtain the necessary information were used in addition to internal company documents also two surveys: Quantitative research (survey) and qualitative research (expert interviews). It can be said that based on the results of both studies there was a consensus of obtained information (results). Based on this information and findings were made proposals to improve the education and development of the analyzed company.
