Title Coordination abilities in long-term concept sports training of children Objective The point of the thesis is handle the issue of coordination ability. In the first part of the thesis I will talk about general issues of children's sports training, developmental patterns and the characteristic of sensitive periods. The fundamental basis of my research part is find out how the coordination skills involved in long-term sports training, what is their role in motor development of children and what their biological basis. Methods The thesis has a theoretical character and it uses qualitative methods: compares, analyses and interprets texts and data acquired through background research. Results Coordination skills have proven essential element of successful mastery of motor skills in the concept of long-term sports training more or less dependent on coordination. If there are individual skills developed in the sensitive periods is very difficult to catch up with missed this and achieve the same level of skills acquired. Important role in the development of coordination skills and heredity plays a connection with the state and function of the central nervous system. Relationship of Competitive Anxiety Intensity and Direction to an Amount of Experience and Competitive Level in Alpine Skiing
Píša, Martin ; Chalupová, Eva (advisor) ; Perič, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis deals with the differences in the intensity and the direction of competitive anxiety among ski racers with different amount of experience at various competitive levels. The participants of the research were male adult and junior alpine skiers performing at various competitive levels (n= 66; M = 21,50; SD = 4,02). The participants completed the CSAI-2 inventory including additional direction subscales (Jones, Swain, 1992). Neither multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) nor two-way univariate analysis of variance (two-way ANOVA) revealed any significant interaction or main effects of the amount of experience on the competitive anxiety intensity and direction. The MANOVAs and ANOVAs revealed significant main effects of competitive level on the cognitive and somatic anxiety direction and the self-confidence intensity and direction. The two way ANOVAs revealed a significant interaction effect of the amount of experience and the competitive level on the self-confidence intensity. No differences were found among ski racers at various competitive levels in the intensity or the direction of competitive anxiety and the self-confidence intensity and direction. Furthermore, although no differences in the competitive anxiety intensity were revealed about ski racers at various competitive levels,...

Zajícová, Veronika ; Heller, Jan (advisor) ; Perič, Tomáš (referee)
Title: The exercise diagnostics of women ice-hockey players - Wingate test Objectives: The study is focused on anthropometric characteristics and anaerobic efficiency comparing with using 30s Wingate test parameters. For the test groups of women ice-hockey players and boys ice-hockey players ages 15, 16 and 17 have been selected. The purpose of the work is forming a picture about efficiency level of women players from the national team and comparing with the results of these three selected groups of boys. The study includes a data evaluation of questionnaire about hockey experiences of women players. The exercise anaerobic 30s Wingate test has been implemented on selected group of women ice-hockey players from 14 to 26 years (x = 17.8 ± 3.7). The results of this group have been compared with results of three groups of hockey players ages 15, 16 and 17 (x = 14.98 ± 0.81; x = 16.03 ± 0.41; x = 17 ± 0.35). Working hypothesis supposed no differences between anaerobic training facility indices of women and boys ages 15, 16 and 17. Methods : Basic statistical items (x-arithmetic mean, SD-standard deviation) for all 4 groups (women, boys age 15, 16 and 17) have been evaluated. The statistical significance of differences between average values of file parameters has been tested by T-test (also known as...
