Application of KPM on Graphene/Si Surface Modified by FIB method

This diploma thesis is focused on the application of Kelvin probe microscopy on graphene fabricated by the chemical vapour deposition. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with basic principles of Kelvin force microscopy and focus ion beam. Further, basic properties of graphene and its possible fabrication methods are discussed. The experimental part is focused on the surface potential measurements on graphene membranes fabricated on the substrate modified by focus ion beam. Finally, atomic force microscope lithography was used for nanopatterning of graphene sheets.

Project to Upgrade Communication Infrastructure in High School

Diploma thesis is dedicate to plan project which task is to improve communication on high school while it is going to use project and change management. The theoretical part is about basic knowledge of project and change management. Analysis of current state is done primarly with strategic analysis. Practical part include Logical Framework approach, risk analysis, budget etc. In this part we also choose and implement chosen IT solution. Benefits of the project and project itself is summarized at the end of thesis.

Narušuje trh bydlení pracovní mobilitu a zaměstnanost v České republice?

The main goal of the paper is to find out whether homeownership can have detrimental effect on employment in the Czech Republic. The Oswalds conjecture is tested on the set of panel data across Czech regions between the years of 2005--2012. By testing model similar to the Oswald's I receive the similar result that the rate of homeownership leads to higher rate of unemployment in following years. The second model tested in the paper does not support previous findings that regional rate of homeownership has negative effect on individual's probability of being unemployed. Possible refinements to the model are presented as inspiration for further research.

Induced demand in health care

In this bachelor thesis are examined two hypotheses. The goal of the first hypothesis is to provide an evidence of physicians induced demand. This hypothesis is examined by regression analysis using fixed effects method. An assumption, that outpatient surgeons will provide less control checks when facing increased number of patients was confirmed. However, final effect is negligible. The goal of the second hypothesis is to amend paper Fuchs (1978) and find out, if better quality surgeons recommend less surgery. The results of the analysis indicate that this statement is true and Fuchs (1978) did not underestimate this effect.

DPRK and the division of the Korean Peninsula

The paper analyzes the situation on the Korean Peninsula before its division and deals with the consequences that this division have had for both countries on the Korean peninsula. It first identifies the main dimensions that have been affected most in these countries, and the main analysis will be devoted to social and economic consequences, especially in the environment of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. For comparison, the situation and developments in the Republic of Korea is mentioned. The work also examines the evolution of the two countries since their division until the nineties and the main part is devoted to analysis and deeper study of social and economic situation at present.
