Wing design of the gliders

Thesis treats influences of geometrical characteristics on aerodynamic wing properties generally meaning, wing construction load and describes typical wing design. Next there are introduced basic requirements on gliders, according to regulation CS-22. Consequently there are described composite structures and there is sketched their design. There are described wings of two different present high-performance sail-planes (Schleicher ASW 22, SZD56-2 Diana-2). Finally there are compared modern gliders, their performances and on this basic there are compared performances of 15-metre Class and 18-metre Class.
Efficiency incerasing of axial compressors of jet engines

Bachelor thesis deals with axial compressors of jet engines and with increasing their efficiency. First part describes basic principles of compressors, losses, stall and surge and compressor characteristics. Second part deals with possible solutions for increase of their efficiency and pressure rise. These solutions are summarized and possible combination is recommended.
Advanced conception of school gliders

The bachelor's thesis offers a view of flight regimes of school glider and the demands placed on it. These demands depend on requirements of the training plan, aero clubs, instructors and students themselves. You will find a selection of gliders for training used in the Czech Republic and Czechoslovakia from 1950 and evaluation of positive and negative properties of these gliders. Further on, it is outlined how the best glider for training new pilots should look like.
Remotorization of the aircraft EV-55 Outback

Thesis Remotorization of the aircraft EV-55 Outback deals with possibility of installationt piston diesel engine instead of turboprop engine PT6A-21. Begining of this thesis deals with choice of convenient engine and propeller. Then, 3D model of engine bed is designed, followed by mass analysis. Based on results from the mass analysis and requirements from the CS - 23 regulation, load is specified and stress analysis is done. The other part of this thesis deals with adjustment of the airframe and with calculation of flight performances. Finally, economic indices are specified.
Analysis of aviation accidents caused by incorrect maintenance

This bachelor´s thesis covers the aviation accidents caused by incorrect maintenance. It is especially dedicated to the most common human errors and conditions, that can act as precursors to incidents and accidents. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part summarizes the basic statistics of accidents. The next part analyzes the most common causes of accidents due to bad maintenance and methods, that could be used to reduce them. In the last part, there are selected accidents caused by incorrect maintenance focusing on the reformation leading to safer flights.
Czech nationalism and the emergence of the Czechoslovak Church

This paper describes nationalism as a phenomenon that has become an integral part of Czech society in the 19th century and its manifestations. It describes the main motives Czech nationalist ideology created by T. G. Masaryk. It also described the political situation during the First World War and the circumstances of the independent Czechoslovak state and its share in breaking the Austro - Hungarian monarchy. The work deals with the problem of modernism in the Catholic Church, whose adherents later became the founder of the Church of Czechoslovakia. Briefly describes the lives of the founders of the church and their relationship to nationalist political movements. The core of the work is the analysis of texts relating to the reform movement of the Czech Catholic clergy and the Czechoslovak church, from the period between 1906 - 1931, which is determined by the definition of nationalism seeks to assess its impact on the formation and other life Czechoslovak Church.
Conversion to Judaism a Reflection to Jewish Oral Tradition and History

The thesis deals with conversion to Judaism from the point of view of the Jewish oral tradition and history. First part is focused on the general issue of conversions, laws and regulations of the Jewish law (Halakha) dealing with conversions, and views held by scholars belonging to the Talmudic period. Chronologically ordered sections follow, containing examples of conversions of both individuals and ethnic groups (Samaritans) of the Biblical period with an emphasis on their presence in written oral tradition, in Mishna, Gemarah and midrashes. Examples of converts of the Hellenic and Roman periods are presented in a similar fashion. This part is concluded with a chapter on converts in the Sassanid Babylonia. The thesis then presents examples of conversions from the late Hellenic period and early Middle Ages, including peripheral parts of the then know world - northern Africa, Ethiopia, Yemen and the Khazar Khaganate in the steppes along the Volga river. The last part of the thesis consists of examples of individual conversions to Judaism in the Europe of Middle Ages and the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Jaroslav Maďar Dejiny slovenského pietizmu a jeho vplyv na spoločnosť a kultúru History of Slovak pietism and its influence on society and culture The dissertation entitled The History of Slovak Pietism and Its Influence on Society and Culture is contribution to the history of church in Slovakia. The work is divided into five chapters. The first two ones deal with the survey, assessment of the past and contemporary research in this field of study and the relationship between worldwide and Slovak Pietism. The core of the work are the next three chapters devoted to the inception (1675-1707), growth (1708-1757) and abating (1758-1803) of Slovak Pietism with accent of personalities and their works of each era.

ThDr. Marketa Langer Praha, 2018 THE THEOLOGICAL LEGACY OF CZECH MODERNISM IN THE LIFE AND WORK OF FRANTIŠEK BÍLEK ABSTRACT This thesis looks at the life and work of the artist Frantisek B lek in relation to the theological legacy of Czech Catholic modernism at the end of the nineteenth and early twentieth century over three chapters. Its objective is to answer three questions: Was the artist the mystic he was perceived to be at the time? Can he be termed a modernist? What were his reasons for joining the Czechoslovak Church when it was founded in 1920? The study uses the method of hypotheses which are stated in advance in the questions posed, and then subsequently tested. Another method used is an analysis and comparison of the approach and attitudes of Czech society to the artist during his life. The introductory chapter describes the study's key indicators with a brief description of the issues, and also the form and structure used.
