This case study tries to describe posibilities and also concrete case of project management implementation in a internet development company. In the first part of this study there are different views on project management in the form of Word known methodologies. Simultaneously he is trying to evaluate default state of internet company before aplying of project management into internal processes of the company. On the base of default state analysis author is therefore targeting on the most complicated areas of all today's companies in project management. There are: Change management, ressource management, risk management, financials and utilizing of human resources. In these areas there is a author's view on the theme. Is there any chance to apply any project management metodology into so turbulent environment as the internet companies are.

The evaluation of the company ČSAD Česká Lípa a. s.

The goal of the thesis is to find out the value of the company ČSAD Česká Lípa a. s. The thesis is dividend into two parts, scilicet a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part explains particular analyses, valuation procedure and methods used in the practical part. It is necessary to make strategic and financial analysis before valuation of the company. These analyses help to build a financial plan, which is used as a basis for valuation of the company by income method. A discounted cash flow method is applied for the valuation of the company, specifically the two-phased model using free cash flow to firm.

EU and ASEAN - issues and challenges of interregional integration

This paper is focused on potential benefits and troubles of regional co-operation exceeding regional borders. The issue is exemplified by the interregional relations between the European Union (EU) and Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN). The first chapter deals with theoretical aspects of transregional and interregional integration. The second chapter concerns general characteristics of ASEAN. The third chapter is about relations between EU and ASEAN. The last chapter deals with benefits and costs, which could accompany creation of the free trade area EU-ASEAN.

Implementation of ISO certification in terms of project management of web development

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is the enhancement of the project management and development processes in the Actum s.r.o.. The instrument I have chosen to accomplish this goal is the ISO certificate, which I have picked up as a suitable tool of internal development methods optimalization. To obtain better view on what the ISO certificate is and what kind of procedures it contains I will analyze the document at first. Next step will be to analyze the current state of the Actum's processes, I will determine the particular phases of the project management and process workflows which are defined by those phases. I will use Use Case diagrams to show how the process looks like. In the final step I will design corrective measures which will be reflecting the norms of the ISO standard. The resolution defined by me will not be only theoretical but this resolution will be realized within the Actum Company.

Finanční analýza společnosti Subterra a. s.

Obsahem bakalářské práce je zpracování finanční analýzy firmy. V první řadě se zabývá historií a účelem finanční analýzy. Dále uvádí zdroje potřebné pro správné provedení finanční analýzy a vyjmenovává uživatele včetně jejich informačních potřeb. Bakalářská práce shrnuje v obecné rovině především metody finanční analýzy. Tyto metody jsou pak aplikovány při finanční analýze společnosti Subterra a. s. Pozornost je zaměřena na provedení horizontální a vetikální analýzy účetních výkazů a na využití rozdílových a poměrových ukazatelů pro zjištění finanční situace firmy.

Central management of company's electronic mail

Cílem této práce je seznámit čtenáře s poštovními systémy a možnostmi jejich spravování takovým způsobem, aby zde načerpané znalosti byly co nejsnáze a nejefektivněji použitelné v praxi. Práce je rozdělena do několika na sebe navazujících částí, kde jsou popsány potřeby firem a jednotlivé modely uspokojování těchto potřeb, systémy pro zpracování elektronické pošty, užité standardy a metody. Dále je popsán právní základ práce s elektronickou poštou, vybrané poštovní servery a Mail Management software. V závěru jsou zmíněny současné trendy v elektronické poště.

Technická architektura MMORPG

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem technické architektury MMORPG. Jsou zde vysvětleny základní principy distribuce na technologické úrovni a možnosti jejich následné implementace na modelový svět. V první části je vysvětlený pojem architektura v IS/ICT a její technologická větev. Následuje popis řešeného problému a nástin základních aspektů, na které je nutné se při tvorbě systému zaměřit, popsání principu distribuce a stručný popis dvou způsobů, které jsou momentálně při tvorbě MMORPG nejvyužívanějšími. Jedná se o cluster computing a grid computing. V následující kapitole jsou detailněji rozepsány rozdílné přístupy ke clusterování, které řeší základní podmínky pro chod serveru. Další část stručně popisuje serverové operační systémy a databázové servery. Hlavní kapitola práce rozvrstvuje architekturu na jednotlivé vrstvy dle jejich funkcionality. Jsou zde představeny dva modely a to dle způsobu řízení pohybu vesmírných těles ve virtuálním světě. Poté následuje návrh rozdělení serverů dle logiky, rozdělení databází na herní a charakterovou a návrh způsobu vlastní distribuce. Závěrem jsou srovnány představené hierarchické modely a možnosti technologické distribuce z nichž je doporučen model s centrálně řízeným pohybem těles naimplementovaný na jeden cluster s připojenými periferními servery.
