Receiver for remote control
Veverka, Vojtěch ; Horák, Martin (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
This semestral project deals with the plan of peripheral involvement of the receiver remote controller, which will serve as a control module for controlling the turning antenna rotator. Part of the work is focused on the issues of wireless remote controllers, the modulation method used for transmitted order and transmission protocols. Then there is solved the problem of the right choice microcontroller for controling the entire application, including a description of its basic properties. The work also solves the overall interconnection of control units, power supplies and antenna rotator itself.
Power line communication modelling in Network Simulator-3
Horák, Martin ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Mlýnek, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of data transmission over power lines, focusing on simulation transmission functions. The theoretical part summarizes basic information on PLC technology and distribution networks, followed by analysis PLC simulator implemented in NS-third In the practical part of the thesis is described implementation of individual types of underground and overhead lines to the PLC simulator. Also been carried simulation scenarios for a simple topology and were designed own simulation scenarios for extended topology and simulations have been carried out various kinds of interference on communication.
Rotary controller for PC
Olivík, Lukáš ; Horák, Martin (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis describes the Universal Serial Bus and the development of a simple HID peripheral device, connecting a rotary encoder as a control element to the host computer. This paper includes an overview of suitable microprocessors, circuit design, PCB and mechanical design, creation of a firmware for the selected microprocessor, and programming of demonstration software on the PC’s side.
Design of the off-road vehicle
Horák, Martin ; Surman, Martin (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The main goal of this diploma thesis is to create a design of an off-road vehicle. The vehicle has become a concept vision of an ecological off-road of the future fueled by hydrogen fuel cells. The secondary goal is: to bring new innovative form elements into conventional design solution of off-road vehicles and to highlight the problem with ecology, environmental protection and limited resources of fossil fuels.
Precise frequency generator
Kopečný, Martin ; Horák, Martin (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is aimed at design and realization a Precise frequency generator. Generator making use radio service DCF77 as a source of referencial signal for synchnonization. Synchronization with DCF signal warrants to generator high long time precision of output frequency. Generator is used to measurement. This device generate synchronous clock frequency in two places which are independent and remote each other about 1km.
Design of an Information System
Horák, Martin ; Horák, Lukáš (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the master thesis is design of an information system for concert management of music ensembles. The information system is developed in cooperation with LimetaApps s.r.o.
Human Resources Activities in Company: Motivation
Horák, Martin ; Ďurajka, Martin (referee) ; Franková, Emilie (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with a motivation of employees in concrete company. On the basis of empiric survey are proposed instruments, which really motivate employees to make better job performance. These motivation instruments could help cut down stress and improve communication in the company. The aim of this thesis is on the basis of analysis current status to purpose concrete motivation instruments, which will increase job performance of employees.
OFDM implementation in FPGA
Horák, Martin ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Maršálek, Roman (advisor)
The thesis is focused on designing OFDM modem, which should be implemented into the FPGA device. The advantages of using OFDM signals in order to provide high baud rates together with high multipath immunity has provoked a mass expansion into media systems such as DSL, DVB, Wi-Fi, WLAN, etc. . Thanks to this technology we can quarantee high modulation rates with minimal negative disturbance eects. The rst part is dedicated to characterise OFDM signals, their generation and the algorithm producing the OFDM which is implemented in DSP devices. For the purpose of using the fastest algorithm, the Fast Fourier Transform using Cooley-Tukey algorithm was shown. Before we can implement OFDM modem into the FPGA device, we have to simulate its correct function. Because there is no OFDM analyser available at our departement, its necessary to prove its correct function by simulations. Therefore a large part of this thesis is focused on simulations using Matlab and ModelSim, in order to show comparison between the theoretical, and simulated results. Between the theoretical and practical simulations there is a part which shows the brief characteristics of available FPGA devices. Detailed view is presented just for the Virtex II device, which the implementation is made for. As a suitable FPGA device, we have chosen Virtex II XC2V1000 which is available for students. In the last part the measured results were shown to prove the corect function of the modem. Programming the FPGA using VHDL language is realized in the software ISE Xilinx (distributed in Xilinx software support). All programmed scrits and data used in this thesis are included on distributed media.
Design of Breakfast Table
Horák, Martin ; Zvonek, Miroslav (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to design a practical breakfast table, which would facilitate its multifunctionality some human activities in the home, as for example: dining in bed, using a notebook and much more. Breakfast table should meet all ergonomic requirements and take its design.
Galoisova tělesa
Horák, Martin
Horák, M. Galois fields. Brno: Mendel University, 2014. This bachelor thesis deals with creating the application for explaining how Galois fields work. It describes the principal of generating elements of the field and how mathematical operations between these elements work. It also deals with using of these fields for cryptography.
