Implementation of Mining Modules of Data Mining System on NetBeans Platform
Stríž, Rostislav ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Šebek, Michal (advisor)
Data collecting plays an important role in many aspects of today's businesses and quality information is the key to success. Process called Knowledge Discovery in Databases makes possible to extract hidden information that can be used further in our efforts. Main goal of this thesis is to describe an addition to such Data Mining System. Main objective is to create data mining module for NetBeans application, developed for demonstrational purposes by Faculty of Information Technology. New module is going to be able to mine information from Oracle database server via unusual use of Genetic Algorithm. This thesis describes the whole process of module implementation, begining with theoretical basics through coding details to final testing and summary.
Classification Mining Modules of Data Mining System on NetBeans Platform
Kuzma, Norbert ; Šuška, Boris (referee) ; Šebek, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the data mining and the creation of data mining unit for data mining system, which is beeing developed at FIT. This is a client application consisting of a kernel and its graphical user interface and independent mining modules. The data mining system is implemented in Java language and its graphical user interface is built on NetBeans platform. The content of this work will be the introduction into the issue of knowledge discovery and then the presentation of neural networks, for which there will subsequently be implemented the stand-alone data mining module. Furthermore, the implementation of this modulewill be described.
Knowledge Discovery in MS SQL Environment
Pijáček, Roman ; Šebek, Michal (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis deals with issue of knowledge discovery in databases in MS SQL Server 2008. After the initial entry into the field of knowledge discovery in databases, general principles and algorithms of used data mining methods (Bayesian classification, association rules, decision trees, cluster analysis) are explained in detail. In the practical part of this thesis there is designed, implemented and tested desktop application which allows the user to discover knowledge and hidden information from database. The application uses methods built into the SQL Server 2008 and the Apriori method for mining strong association rules. In the end, there are discussed further possible expansion of the existing project and an evaluation of the results.
Datamining from Jabber
Sendler, Jaroslav ; Šebek, Michal (referee) ; Mlích, Jozef (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the collection and analysis of data from the network for the Jabber instant messaging. There is a client decsribed that collects data and then stores them in a database. The client performs the function of a robot that responds appropriately to the selected questions. Further information is collected for analysis. For this purpose their transformation was first made, that reflects the temporal characteristics of data. It was subsequently used algorithm k-eans of tool RapidMiner. The results are presented by graphical form and using a spreadsheet.
Database Version Management for Application Development in Eclipse
Palarczyk, Vít ; Šebek, Michal (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with database version control for application development in Eclipse. In the theoretical part, it provides information about the Eclipse environment and its extension modules (plugins) that are an inseparable part of Eclipse. There is also a description of version control systems with a detailed focus on the Subversion system and a description of the JDBC application interface that is used for connecting the database in Java applications. The next part deals with the design of a tool for database version control, which is implemented as a plugin for Eclipse. In this section, there is a description of the implementation and a description of the installation and use of this tool. In the final part, there is a description of the performed tests and their results.
Utilization of Multiple Level Association Rules in an e-Shop
Králík, Michael ; Šebek, Michal (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of a complete information system for the needs of electronic shop, where multiple level association rules will be used for data mining. The information system will include warehouse management, automated order processing, payment management, tax records and display various statistics. Technologies such as HTML, Latte, CSS, JavaScript, Nette Framework, PHP and MySQL were used to implement this system.
Offline Wiki Editor for Android
Chrastina, Ondřej ; Šebek, Michal (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned with wiki webs and the Android mobile platform. Their objective is to create an application that enables offline editing of wiki webs on the mobile devices. This application focuses on being user friendly with allowing the most effective editing. The first part of this thesis concentrates on the theoretical specification of wiki webs and the Android platform. The second part then presents the actual development of the application. During the development, the emphasis is placed on the expansibility of the application with the component for the synchronization between the local storage in the mobile device and the server. The final application is evaluated in the last part of the thesis followed by the presentation of the possibilities of its potential development.
Data Classification Methods
Kaščák, Pavol ; Šebek, Michal (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with data classification, focusing on the implementation of naive Bayes classification method. At First, it is generally described process of data classification, its division into phases with their characteristic. It is followed by a more accurate description of the naive Bayes classification method and description of the implementation by using Java programming language and MySQL database. The last section contains a summary of the results.
Data Warehouse with a Focus on the ETL Process Optimization
Veselý, Ivan ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Šebek, Michal (advisor)
This thesis focus on creating data warehouse and process of its implementation. The content is: Introduction into data warhousing, implemetation of data warehouse and process of its population.
Functionality Extension of Data Mining System on NetBeans Platform
Šebek, Michal ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Lukáš, Roman (advisor)
Databases increase by new data continually. A process called Knowledge Discovery in Databases has been defined for analyzing these data and new complex systems has been developed for its support. Developing of one of this systems is described in this thesis. Main goal is to analyse the actual state of implementation of this system which is based on the Java NetBeans Platform and the Oracle database system and to extend it by data preprocessing algorithms and the source data analysis. Implementation of data preprocessing components and changes in kernel of this system are described in detail in this thesis.
