Application for Wearables Running Apple WatchOS
Singh, Kevin ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee) ; Mašek, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor work „Application for wearable electronics with Apple WatchOS system“ deals with theoretical analysis of M2M (Machine-to-Machine), H2H (Human-to-Human) and D2D (Device-to-Device) communication and wearable electronics. Later in the theoretical part, smart watch Apple Watch is described, which contains required WatchOS system. During compilation of this bachelor work were created two applications. One was made for iPhone and a second for Apple Watch. Both applications are able to show information about Internet connection and the user s location. The application for iPhone is also able to store data in the local and server s database.
Application for Smart Meter Data Readout Using Zigbee Technology
Bräuer, Jonáš ; Štůsek, Martin (referee) ; Zeman, Kryštof (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with communication of wireless devices using ZigBee technology. In the theoretical part, the ZigBee protocol is compared to other technological solutions of sensor networks (WPAN and LPWAN) and its structure is being explained. In the practical part, a Java application for remote configuration and data collection has been created.
Applications for Wearable Devices based on Android Wear OS
Šmejkal, Petr ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The semestral project "Application for Android Wear wearables” describes basic principles of the communication network - M2M (machine to machine), H2H (human to human) and D2D (device to device). It is also focused on wearables especially smart watches, available operation systems for smart watches and system Android, Android Wear. In the practical part is described functionality, design and structure of developed application for Android wear smartwatch.
Experimental Evaluation of IEEE 802.11ac/ad Wireless Technology Properties
Jošťák, Matej ; Mašek, Pavel (referee) ; Zeman, Kryštof (advisor)
This bachelor work is about experimental verification features of wireless network, with focused on high speed transfers. For measurement was chose standard IEEE 802.11ac/ad. In the theoretical part, we describe the Internet of Things and communications between devices, especially the M2M communication. Then in work follows the chronological description of standard IEEE 802.11. The practical part is about describing the used hardware, after which follow the detailed describe of theoretical and practical realization of application and measurements itself. The last part of work is about measured values, its evaluation and makes conclusions. In the inclosure are source codes of our applications and graphs.
Application for Smart Meter Data Readout with Subsequent Sending to the Central Database
Navrátil, Tomáš ; Mašek, Pavel (referee) ; Zeman, Kryštof (advisor)
This thesis explores new posibilities of using mobile devices, specificaly cell phones and tablets which support the USB OTG feature, to read data from smart electricity meters. To achieve this goal, an application for OS Android was developed in practical part of this thesis. This mobile application communicates with electricity meters via optical sensor serving as serial line and using the DLMS/COSEM standard. Acquired data are saved to a remote database for further use.
Management and Monitoring System for Computer Lab
Kudláček, Marek ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee) ; Mašek, Pavel (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with a system for PC mass management and monitoring. There is a brief description of Puppet, Chef and Ansible, which are tools enabling this functionality. The overall system issues are solved by Ansible. This thesis also includes a script created for a classroom’s remote management according to a beforehand fixed assignment. The system enables remote installation and configuration of applications, creation of users, editing the files, update of the system and many more. A web application was created for this system. Through this application, the system can be controlled via web browser, both from local and public network. Practical examples of the issue dealt with is also part of the thesis.
Model-View-ViewModel design pattern in WPF applications
Švikruha, Patrik ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
The thesis deals with the explanation of the proposal application according to multi-layered presentation models which describe the distribution of the application layers thereby its facilitating, testability, sustainability and transferability. In this work i focus myself on presentating model for Model-View-ViewModel which is primary designated for WPF application. This presentating model is possible to be built by frameworks used as NuGet open-source package managers or Project templates. In this thesis I focus on framework Catel, which can be used thanks to it´s robustness through all layers of application. The primary output of this thesis is a real application, on which I demonstrate design template with the intagration of framework Catel. I tried to describe whole theory and following process as easy as possible, that even an reader, who has no experiences with designing a multilayer application, could understand it.
Sensing Device based on Windows 10 IoT Core
Vaľuš, Dávid ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on installation of system Windows 10 IoT Core on microcomputer Raspberry Pi 2 and creating AllJoyn application for measuring temperature, humidity and brightness via bluetooth interface. In theoretics part technologies like M2M (Machine To Machine) and IoT (Internet of Things) are described, actuall trends and the future and AllJoyn platform. There is also a comparsion of operating systems available for Raspberry Pi 2. Practical part focuses on the installation of system Windows 10 IoT Core on Raspberry Pi 2 board. It also deals with verification of the functionality of the system via testing aplication for temperature measurement via SPI interface and bluetooth. In practical part we joined the AllJoyn network and via this network we shared data from a Bluetooth sensor.
Virtualization of ARM architecture and development of a universal control platform for embedded systems
Páleník, Luděk ; Mašek, Pavel (referee) ; Zeman, Kryštof (advisor)
Bachelor thesis "Virtualization of ARM architecture and development of a universal control platform for embedded systems" deals with theoretical analysis of IoT devices, M2M communications and virtualization techniques -- especially emulation of different processor architectures. The practical part is implementation of the modified emulated image for CM-T43 module from Texas Instruments manufacturer. QEMU emulation tool installed on Linux operating system is used for emulation. Another part of this work is to develop an application that allows reading and writing of data from / to each sensor based on a serial line (RS-232, RS-485) and Ethernet. The application is written in language C and uses the MODBUS protocol.
Design of desktop applications using the workflow library
Zeman, Kryštof ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
The theoretical part of the thesis generally focuses on history and development of work- flow library, briefly describing most important features and options, which gives the reader basics needed to understand and orientation in the topic. In practical part of the thesis is detailly analized prime example, which is showing options, flexibility and advantages of connecting WF and WPF libraries. Primarily the thesis uses the most widely used model and shows how to pass information between workflow and WPF.
