Dance therapy

Title: Dance therapy Aim: The main aim of this report was to evaluate the level of knowledge that the general public has about dance therapy and the professionalization of dance therapists. Techniques: Two different questionnaires were used in order to assist with the completion of this report. The questionnaires were sent to 15 specialist institutions and to 25 members of the general public. The first questionnaire, directed to specialist institutions consisted of 13 open questions where dance therapists could share their opinions and point of views. The second questionnaire, directed to the general public consisted of 3 closed and 1 open question. Findings: Since its inception, dance therapy is still developing. The progress is most apparent in the programme structure and content in which patients contribute themselves. Dance therapy has been slowly shifting into a scientific field. The other positive development is noticeable with patients who regularly attend dance therapy classes. The most visible improvements are in establishing contacts, patient self-esteem, perception of own body and a save release of emotions. Title: Cheerleading - Methodical material of advanced stunts Objectives: The objective is to provide comprehensive outline of information about cheerleading and to create listing of recommendations for advanced stunts and practice of advanced stunts. Methods: Creation of chapter theoretical data was done by analyzing all available sources. The listing of recommendations for practicing advanced stunts was created by comparison of available literature concerning advanced stunts in cheerleading. Further we used the method of observation and then selected particular stunts for methodical material. Results: Comprehensive review of information about cheerleading. Complete listing of grips, load-ins and dismounts. Didactic recommendations for practice of advanced stunts formed into methodical lists and photo documentation. Developing a dancing-motion programme for senior citizens

Title: Developing a dancing-motion programme for senior citizens Objectives: The objective of this diploma work was to develop and apply a dancing-motion programme for seniors and to characterize its benefits for senior individuals aged between 60 and 90. Methods: Using quantitative and qualitative methods we evaluated the quality of developing a dancing-motion programme for seniors. We used the method of inquiry with the techniques of survey, observation and group interview. The praxix took place in a chosen retirement home during the time period of three months. Results: The achieved results of my work are described in detail in the result part of my work and summarized in its discussion part. The results of our research showed that although the developing and the application of the dancing-motion programme was positively evaluated by the probational group, its level of difficulty did not quite suit the seniors' psysical abilities and that is why it was found difficult by them. Creation of disco dance choreographies

Cílem této bakalářské práce je sjednotit poznatky z teorie a praxe v jeden celek, který se může stát praktickou příručkou pro začínajícího trenéra-choreografa. Tomuto cíli napomůžou dvě části. Část teoretická popisuje historický vývoj až po dnešní soutěže Disco Dance a východiska tvorby choreografie. Následuje část analytická, která rozebírá dvě vybrané choreografie. Vyústěním je Závěr dávající do souvislosti nasbírané poznatky z teorie a vlastní analýzy videí a jejich porovnání. Annotation The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide a work summarising both the theory and practice of the choreography of rock and roll dance routines, which could be used as a guidebook for a beginner trainer-choreograph. To achieve this aim the thesis is written in two main sections. A theoretical part describes the historical development of Disco Dance choreography right up until contemporary competitions. The second section provides an analysis of two selected choreographies. Finally the author concludes in providing a comparison by way of video analysis, in light of the knowledge gained from the theory of the choreographies.
Influence of fear to efficiency in sports gymnastic

Title: Influence of fear to efficiency in sports gymnastic. Goal of bachelors study : Detection influence of fear on learning of skills in vault. State what are the experieces of students with vault before their entry to UK FTVS and what are the most frequent reasons of fear in vault. Method : Research was made by asking thru question forms with students from third year UK FTVS, whose already passed semester of sports gymnastic. Results : Come to the conclusion that fear is very importatnt for efficiency in vault. Fear is the most often evoke by negative experience or by absence of any eperiences with this discipline. Formative Influence of Acrobatic Rock 'n' roll on the Quality of Posture in Children Aged 6-14

Title: Formative Influence of Acrobatic Rock'n'roll on the Quality of Posture in Children Aged 6-14 Work provides an overview of standardized tests and how to use them in a training process, through which we can evaluate the quality of the posture and assess the impact and appropriateness of applied physical exercise, means and methods in the practice of acrobatic rock and roll. The aim is to gain knowledge about the state of musculoskeletal deliberately selected dancers of acrobatic rock and roll aged 6-14 with a focus on quality assessment of posture. Work in the form of the case study seeks to highlight the significant impact of training load on the level of postural system. To evaluate the quality of posture we have taken tests by Klein and Thomas and Mathias's test and for examination mobility of tests by Janda and Kabelíkova, Vávrová. Values obtained (both aspektion and palpation), we recorded in the relevant forms and for their processing, we used the method of graphical comparison with Microsoft Office Word. More information about probands, we found out through a questionnaire survey. Selected probands were divided into two groups with respect to different frequency load and underwent intraindividuálnímu and inter-evaluation in relation to the aimed at by the model.
