The third part is focused on suggestion of own solutions. The final fourth part includes a financial assessment.

An effect of purchase of CNC grinding center on productivity of manufacturing

This master’s thesis familiarizes reader with technology of machine grinding – it’s history, principle, general use, related tools, achievable parameters and kinematics of grinding process. The core of work is analysis of jig-grinder Hauser H45-400, it’s kinematics, machine technical data, options and accessories. Work concludes with technical and economical assessment of machining of several parts with this machine and compares results to alternative options of machining.

Design of the fixture for the clamping of the machined part

Bachelor’s thesis is focused on design for clamping of machined part on CNC machine EC-1600. Familiarization with issue, including a theory that is necessary for desing and manufactrure of the fixture. There are made design of options fixture, calculations of cutting forces, clamping forces, verification of safety and economic evaluation. The aim is to create the documentation that discusses all information regarding to a proposal fixture clamp of managment of the compandy OMNI-X CZ.

The influence of process liquids on the machining process

The content of my study is related to the coolant comparison in machining manufacturing process. Subject of analysis is a company which produce vacuum pumps and machine parts from aluminium castings and billets. My records and final analysis are a recommendation of the suitable coolant for the manufacturing process in terms of their Lean production system´s KPI´s (Safety, Quality, Delivery and Costs).

Process optimalization and 5S implementation in the manufacturing company PressMetal-CZ, Ltd

Bachelor's project deals with optimisation of industrial process using 5S method in a business unit, which was recently acquired by PressMetal-CZ, s.r.o. The first part of the project is focused on theoretical findings and description of each step of the method. The second part is concerned with the process of implementation of 5S method in the business unit. It consists of description and practical solution to the problem, calculation of costs and savings resulting from introduction of 5S method. Conclusion summarises achieved goals and contributions of this project.

Maintenance processes and management optimalization of a production line in bearing production

This master thesis scrutinizes maintenance of production line made of two grinding machines used in bearing production. In the first section of the work, general principles of industrial maintenance are summarized. In the following practical section, maintenance of the production line is analysed. A calculation for determining production line downtime costs caused by machine failure is designed enabling an analysis of the effectiveness of investment into the diagnostic system of the machine. Lastly, possible measures for optimization of the production line’s maintenance are proposed.
