Critical life situation of mothers with children

This bachelor thesis deals with crisis situations of mothers with children, who were compelled to seek aid either within their own family or in shelter house. The theoretical part works at concept of family. We can distinguish two types of families - well functioning family and clinical family. The second chapter deals with concept of unmarried mother's family which also falls into the clinical families. There are lots of forms of aid which can mothers utilize. One of these forms is shelter house which was paid close attention to. The empirical component of this work comprises three groups of utterances or respondents respectively. The first group contains women who already have lived in sanctuary house, and nowadays they live independently. The second group of women lives nowadays in shelter house and they are getting ready for an independent life. The last group includes mothers without any relations to some institutions. It was used some standardized interview with open-ended questions and observations also. In conclusion there are some pieces of advice and suggestions which can help mothers to protect from this crisis situations.
Awareness of overweight people and people without overweight on the risk of cardiovascular dise

This thesis deals with awareness of overweight and non-overweight people about of the risk of cardiovascular diseases. The goal is to determine the level of knowledge of both groups in the section of cardiovascular diseases and their interest in this issue. Next goal is to determine the degree of difference in awareness in this issue between the sexes. The theoretical part provides information about obesity (causes, symptoms, complications, treatment). It also deals with frequent cardiovascular diseases - hypertension, atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction, ischemic heart disease, cerebrovascular accident, and dyslipidemia. One of chapters is devoted to projects that address prevention of obesity and cardiovascular diseases. The practical part of work describes examined group that participated in the survey. Analysis of the results shows that people who are not overweight or obese are more informed about the risks of cardiovascular disease than overweight and obese people, because they are less interested in this issue. Women are better informed in the section of cardiovascular diseases than men. 14 individuals out of 89 members of research is interested in the issue of cardiovascular diseases. Analysis of the accident rate of cook specialization students at selected vocational training workplaces

The thesis named Safety and protection of students of cook specialisation at their vocational training workplace focuses namely on the characterization of the issue of students' health protection, definition of basic terms and a brief overview of regulations and conditions governing the performance of vocational training. My aim was not to make a list of all legal regulations but rather to provide brief guidelines for vocational teachers. In the practical part I tried to compare accident rate of students in two different types of vocational training, namely training under the command of a vocational teacher and training at an individual workplace under the leadership of a vocational training instructor. Based on the discovered facts and findings I then gave suggestions for the improvement of the current state in the field of Occupational Safety and Health at our school and recommendations for pedagogical practice.
Personal safety in emergency situations in school education programme in the specific elementary school

TITLE: Personal safety in emergency situations in school education programme in the specific elementary school. ABSTRACT: Each elementary school in the Czech Republic must be in accordance with applicable laws incorporated the issue of protection of human emergencies in their school education system. Primary schools are based on the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education and Ministry guidline no.: 12050/03-22 from 4th March 2013. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to determine the state of incorporation the issue of protection of human emergencies in school education system in ZŠ Jižní IV., what is the level of knowledge in this area for children of the 5th and 9th grade in this school. Based on the results there will be proposed solution how the issue of human emergencies might be provided and incorporated in the school education system and in all subjects. Furthermore recomended the program and the project "Defence day" for students of all ages. A small survey among head masters of elementary schools in Prague 4 is observed, as perceived by the issue of protection of human emergencies in teaching in their schools. System to help victims of domestic violence

In the submitted thesis I focus on domestic violence issues. In the theoretical part, I outline these issues based on a bibliographic research; I specify a basic classification of domestic violence, its development, and the current situation in the Czech Republic. Further, I deal with an analysis of the victim and offender personalities and present a valid legislative framework. Last but not least, I present a list of selected organisations providing support for the persons at risk of domestic violence and principles of their work with such victims. In the empirical part I focus on an analysis of the methods of work and cooperation among selected supporting organisations and this based on interviews with their representatives. After reviewing all the obtained information, I present a proposal aimed at an improvement of the work with domestic violence victims. At the same time, I propose a task that is to be developed as a project by secondary school students within primary prevention; the project is aimed at familiarization of students with the correct and adequate procedures applied by workers from the organisations providing support for domestic violence victims.
Primary school teacher's role when choosing leisure time activities for children of first grades of primary schools

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of how teachers influence the choice of leisure time activities of children of first grades of primary school. The aim is to track in which way a teacher can influence the process. The theoretical background of the thesis are notions, such as leisure time, the characteristics and progress of young school children and the atmosphere in which young children spend their leisure time. Theinfluences are analyzed that form children and affect the way they spend their lemure time. Particular attention is paid to the role of a primary school teacher and the ways in which they can influence their pupils' leisure time. The practical part compares leisuretime activities of children in Prague and in a small town.
