Unemployment of graduates in the Zlín region

This thesis deals with the unemployment of graduates in the Zlín region, who are ranked among risk groups in the labor market particularly due to lack of experience, which they can dispose. The main target of my work is to evaluate the graduates in the labor market according to education attained and studied apprenticeship. Afterwards there will be considered how above mentioned factors affect the rate of unemployment in the Zlín region. The theoretical part focuses on the basic concepts associated with the labor market, unemployment, employment policy in the Czech republic and discrimination in the labor market. In the practical part there are compared students both in terms of educational attainment and in terms of studied apprenticeship. One chapter is devoted to the results, which will be in from of survey. These questionnaires will be directed to graduates of different schools and their practical contribution to the knowledge of the practice. The final part points to a possible decrease of unemployment, to which industrial zone in Holešov may contribute.

Status of Roma on the Labor Market

This thesis addresses the status of Roma in society, in the educational system and on the labour market. The central theme of the work is primarily the education of Roma children and their integration in the educational system. The thesis is focused on the integration of Roma children into education system and, by extension, into the majority society from an early age. At present some of them attend preparatory classes and nursery schools. This thesis is seeking ways to increase the participation of Roma children in preschool education and seeks alternative options for their inclusion.

The employment of women after maternity leave

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of female employment in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on the compatibility of the family and professional life. The aim is to explore the extent to which maternity leave affects employment of women, what are the obstacles that prevent them from finding jobs. In the focus is family policy setting and tools of employment policy in the Czech Republic, especially expenditures from the state budget. The detailed analysis of the labor market in the Czech Republic and in the region Havlickuv Brod is included. The core of the work is represented by the research of the unemployment of women after maternity leave, made in the region Havlickuv Brod. The evaluation of the research findings and the outline of possible solutions regarding the compatibility of work and family are in the conclusion.

DISCRIMINATION AGAINST WOMEN IN THE LABOUR MARKET

The diploma thesis deals with the status of women in the labour market. The thesis outlines gender issues and focuses on the principle of equal opportunities for men and women, which has become largely a public issue. The thesis aims to explore two areas in the sphere of employment. The first aim is to detect differences in the status of women in the labour market regarding the level of employment equality and to identify factors that affect them. The second aim is focused on finding differences in the gender pay gap and to identify factors that determine them. The situation of women in the labour market and the wage differences is a statistical examination of data on the Czech Republic. The thesis presents a conclusive explanation of gender inequality in the labour market and the problem of harmonizing work and family life. The legislation is also presented, which represents the efforts of the state to eliminate unequal access to women. Results of the analysis made comprehensive findings of developments and current status of women in the labour market set in a European context.

Poválečný vývoj Československa v oblasti mezinárodní integrace v letech 1945-1953

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá poválečnou situací a vývojem v Československu v letech 1945-1953. Nejprve poukazuje na úspěšnou obnovu hospodářství Československa na rozdíl od ostatních válkou postižených států Evropy, která je určující v následném vývoji, v postupném pronikání na zahraniční trhy a v navázání zahraničně obchodních vztahů. Objevovaly se snahy o synchronizaci hospodářství, o hospodářskou spolupráci a pomoc zemím sovětského bloku. Tento tlak na Sovětský svaz vzrostl po odmítnutí účasti na Marshallově plánu. Důraz je kladen především na Radu vzájemné hospodářské pomoci (RVHP), její vznik, poslání, význam a vytyčení si základních cílů. Nechybí zde ani popis koordinace společného plánování členů RVHP, uzavírání obchodních smluv, dlouhodobých dohod, stejně tak jako deskripce výlučného a dominantního postavení Sovětského svazu, který určuje a mění prostřednictvím RVHP politiku a ekonomiku v jednotlivých členských státech. Práce se zaměřuje na postavení Československa v rámci RVHP, její povinnosti, závazky a přínosy.
