Dog Therapy Utilization with Children Affected by Hyperactivity Syndrome

Title of Diploma Thesis: Dog therapy utilization with children affected by hyperactivity syndrome Aim of Diploma Thesis: Identify whether and how long the children with hyperactivity syndrome are able to calm down, work and relax during the dog therapy lesson. Methods: Research has been based on the structured monitoring of three children with hyperactivity syndrome. Reduction of motion fidget during the dog therapy lesson should proofpositive influence ofthe therapy. Monitoring was repeated to confirm long time effect ofthe therapy. Evaluation by observers has been based on five grades scale. For research has been used in children care reports persona! documents from pedagogic- psychology examination. Results: The assumption, that during dog therapy lesson are children with hyperactivity syndrome able to concentrate on their work longer time, is confirmed. It is possible to use dog therapy as a supporting curative method for children with hyperactivity syndrome. Cíle práce: Cílem práce bylo srovnat úroveň vybraných koordinačních schopností žáků romského a neromského původu na základních školách praktických a vyhodnotit, zda je rozdíl věcně významný. The aim work was compare choice coordinating ability gipsy and no gipsy pupils on primary school practical and evaluate ifthe diference is objectively significant. Metoda: Pomocí vybraných motorických testů (nerytmické bubnování, výdrž ve stoji jednonož na zemi-oči zavřené, přeskoky přes švihadlo, skok na cíl, sestava s tyčí, skok daleký vzad) zjistit úroveň vybraných koordinačních schopností žáků základních škol praktických ve věku 13-15 let. Title of Diploma Thesis: Pupils' movement activities in a class with the rehabilitative educational programme in a special elementarv school Aim ofDiploma Thesis: The goal ofthis diploma thesis is to specify the possibilities of using the movement activities and the Snoezelen method for the development of pupils with serious and deep mental retardation in the rehabilitative class of the Special Elementary and Nursery School in Rakovník. This aim is reached through the analysis and implementation ofthe rehabilitative PE classes. Another goal ofthis diploma thesis is to evaluate the suitability ofthe Snoezelen method for the pupils ofthe rehabilitative class and to make the movement activities part of the pupils' visualized daily schedule so that they become part of their weeldy structured programme. Regular PE lessons should positively influence the weight loss of pupils with serious mental retardation. Another aim of this diploma thesis is to make a DVD with the videorecording of exercises which the chosen pupils from the rehabilitative class can do at home. Future Prospects of Physical Education as an Elementary School Subject

Title A Look at the Future ofPhysical Education as a Primarv School Subject Aim of the Thesis: The aim ofthis thesis is to make a prediction ofthe development of physical education on primary schools in 2005 to 2010. Method: A total of 87 respondents were taken into the research. All of them teach physical education at upper primary schools in South Moravia. An e-mail questionnaire was sent out to all these schools to collect data. Results: The results show that physical education will continue to strive for strenghteaning health and propagating movement. Material means and the quality of pedagogues' education will be the key factors influencing primary schools' physical education. Theraupetic Approach to Assisting Developmetally Disabled Children - Snozelen Method in Special School for Multiple Disabilities in Blansko

Název: Terapeutické přístupy v psychopedii - využití snoozelenu ve Speciální škole pro žáky s více vadami v Blansku. Title: Therapeutic approach to assisting developmentally disabled children - snoozelen method used in specil school for multiple handicapped students in Blansko. Cíle práce: Cílem této práce je jednak rozpracování terminologického aparátu cílových skupin na základě studia analýz literárních a elektronických zdrojů, dále pak proniknutí do běžného života osob s mentální retardací a seznámení se s novými terapeutickými přístupy spojenými se stimulací základních vjemů jedince a multisenzoriálním působením na tyto osoby. Zda -li jim tyto metody umožňují vyzkoušet něco nového, poznat možnosti relaxace, uvolnění či sch1ení pocitů s blízkou osobou. Metoda: Metody této práce byly realizovány ve Speciální škole pro žáky s více vadami v Blansku a jsou vedeny metodologicky na základě pozorování a rozhovoru. K tomuto účelu byli vybráni tři klienti s různým stupněm mentální retardace na základě jejich dokumentace, konzultace s pracovníky a mé zkušenosti s nimi. Výsledky: Po celkovém zpracování všech výsledků lze potvrdit, že nové terapeutické metody mají pozitivní vliv v oblasti stimulace základních vjemů a multisenzoriálruno působení na psychomotorický rozvoj jedince s mentální retardací.
