The tenor figure of Vojtěch , one-act opera,"In the Well" by William Blodek, was a long time with its character, singing diffuculty and technical extremity, a big challenge for me. So I decided after two years of studying this role, write a bachelor thesis about Vojtěch, think about his character and its overall by the creation from the very beginning to the hardest singing party at the end of the opera.

The bachelor project The journey of Edita Gruberova towards the vocal perfection was based on my personal interview with Mrs. Edita Gruberova. It illustrates her voice and technical development from the childhood until present times. The goal of the project was to capture personal opinions and vocal emotions of the singer, who is an important part of the musical scene for many years and amazes the audience with her phenomenal vocal mastery.
Pronunciation of French a opera Text for czech-speaking Singers

The diploma thesis "Pronunciation of French text for the Czech opera singers" is dedicated to French phonetics necessary for singer. The work individually analyses all the vowels and consonants. The description of phonemes is based on Czech phonetics. It compares known phonemes of Czech language with French language phonemes. The work is also focused on necessary division of syllables, as well as accent, voicing assimilation, or binding, so common in French.
Mozart´s songs from the perspective of the interpreter

The following theoretical work titled MOZART'S SONGS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE INTERPRETER has been written on the grounds of the personal experience of the author with the interpretation of Mozart's work. It discusses the history of the origin of nine selected songs, which have been analysed from the vocal-interpretive standpoint and from the standpoint of tectonic structure and musical form. Primarily, the analysis is an expert treatise of the vocal technique field enriched by the components of the historically informed interpretation.
THE LIFE PATH and OPERA WORK OF E. W. KORNGOLD

In this Master´s thesis I will be writing about one of the most successful composers of the first half of the 20th century- Erich Wolfgang Korngold. He was born in Brno (29.5. 1897) and died in Los Angeles (29.11. 1957). On one side this thesis discusses the life path and creative career of E. W. Korngold, on the other side his five operas, which are considered to be a mainstay of his lifelong work. By these I mean one-act operas Der Ring des Polykrates and Violanta, then the most famous opera Die tote Stadt, after that a monumental piece Das Wunder der Heliane and the last forgotten composition Die Kathrin. Furthemore I couldn?t leave out Korgold?s first work on stage- pantomimic ballet Der Schneemann. In this thesis I observe these pieces of work from several view-points ? historical, musically- dramatic form and dramatic content.

In my masters thesis named Classical Music in the period of the Protektorate of Bohemia and Moravia / Theatre/, I am trying to describe the atmosphere of those days - the routine as well cultural life of the people. I am also focusing od the sense of the classical music and its influence on Czechs in this period. Most of all, I am describing individual seasons and important moments of the two Prague theatres during the Protectorate.
Mozart´s singspiels

In my thesis, I focus on the history and evolution of the singspiel musical form on one hand, on the other hand I also analyze the particular singspiels of W.A.Mozart that follow his opery works since his childhood until the last year of his life. These include the singspiels from his early period such as Bastien und Bastienne, Zaide, Der Schauspieldirektor and also the works Die Entführung aus dem Serial and Die Zauberflöte. I try see these works from different angles: from historical and evolutionary point of view, considering the libretto and the literary theme, dramatic form and the storyline.
Smetana´s Litomyšl Festival

In my thesis I decided to captue the emergence and development of international opera Smetana. The first part is devoted to the relationship between Bedrich Smetana and his hometown. Describe the difficult journey of a small father Frederick, who after great hardship ends in the hometown of his only son. We can also mention the first musical steps, local composer, his first song, the first artistic achievements.The chapter ends with a visit by telling the master in Litomysl, where the person becomes the subject of spectacular celebrations. In another chapter entitled " Musical traditions of Litomysl trying to portray the mood and musical passion, which laid the basis for establishing Litomysl festival.In the next chapter, through the testimony of three witnesses Miroslav Broulik, Zdenek Vandas and Vladimir Sauer, we are able to penetrate the personal secrets of behind-the-festival. Last, the longest chapter deals with the International Opera Smetana, who was the most famous monument Litomysl native.
Interpretation of female representatives of verismo ( Santuzza, Nedda)

The work deals with the interpretation of two female representatives of verismo operas. These are Santuzza ( Pietro Mascagni: Cavalleria rusticana) and Nedda ( Ruggiero Leoncavallo : Pagliacci). Interpretation of both roles is based on author´s personal experience and focuses on selected Czech and Slovak singers, which the author saw personally on stage or on videos of Czech theaters and Slovak National Theatre. The work also includes basic information about the composers of both operas and analysis of selected arias.
