Němcová, Magdalena ; Nováková, Tereza (referee) ; Hátlová, Běla (advisor)
6 ABSTRAKT Title od graduation thesis: The Influence of Stress on the Functional Disorder of Cervical Spine. Goal of the thesis: Goal of this thesis is the explanation of the influence of an experienced stress on the functional disorder of the cervical spine. The results demonstrate that an individual personal profile, an insuficient work conditions and an raised proportion of the stress can increase the occurence and influence the process of the functional disorder of the cervical spine. There are defined terms a stress and a stressor, coping strategie, and psychosomatic medicine in this thesis. Further there is discussed the possible physiotherapeutic care for the patients with the functional disorder of the cervical spine. Method: Multicasuistic study (the nonstructured interview, questionaires, physiotherapeutic documentation). Key words: Stress, stressor, psychosomatic medicine, somatopsychic, coping styles, functional disorder of cervical spine, physiotherapy.
Evaluation of the sensitivity of fingers at a group of physiotherapists
Grabcová, Miroslava ; Malá, Jitka (referee) ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor)
Evaluation of the sensitivity of fingers at a group of physiotherapists Objectives: The main objective of this study is to evaluate the sensitivity of the hand, specifically stereognosis and two-point discrimination, with groups of ten physiotherapists and ten participants in the control group of normal population and to identify which of these groups will have a better sensitivity of the hand and fingers. Another objective is to compare the results with the age of all participants and with length practice of physiotherapists. Methods: I used a few simple tests for two-point discrimination (two-point discrimination test) and stereognosis (shapes of objects and their material) to evaluation of sensitivity of fingers for research subjects. The results of a professional group I statistically compared with the results of control group, which was selected from the general population. Results: The results of the first type of sensation, stereognosis, were by a group of physiotherapists in comparison with the control group significantly improved. Individual times of physiotherapists were from the first order of best to the last of the worst always smaller than in the same order in the general population. In results of the second type of sensitivity, two-point discrimination, wasn't a group of...

Nováková, Tereza ; Procházka, Martin (advisor) ; Kolinská, Klára (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to explore the genre of Native American women autobiography by concentrating on its four significant representatives. In the opening part, the work presents the genre providing its several definitions and tracing its origins. Further, it briefly summarizes the history of autobiography with a special focus on American literature and it introduces the genre of Native American autobiography and explains its particularities. Because the work deals with Native American women, the beginning also discusses their past and present social position and their first literary VOICeS. The central part of the thesis investigates four distinct autobiographical narratives written by Native American women at different times and it surveys the main themes that dominate the genre ofNative American woman autobiography. Although all discussed books are labeled as the autobiographies, they m1x together a number of various areas and genres such as history, sociology, mythology, ethnography, political documents, and many others. Native American oral storytelling forms the fundamental base in the analyzed texts, but it is the most experimental autobiography of Leslie Marmon Silko that is wholly constructed as the process of storytelling when her stories carry formal characteristics of Indian oral tales such...
Corrected sitting position influence on fine movements of people with infantile cerebral palsy, with Down syndrome and common people
Vránková, Marcela ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Jalovcová, Miroslava (referee)
English title: Corrected sitting position influence on fine movements of people with infantile cerebral palsy, with Down syndrome and common people Dissertation objectives: Purpose of this dissertation is to find out what is the influence of correct setting of bodies segment upon fine movements of people with combined abnormalities and of primary school first grade pupils and further in what range are the variances in fine movements changing after correction of sitting position. Another object of this dissertation is to compare size of variances of three selected groups and evaluate special educational furniture for correcting of sitting position. Problem definition: People with combined abnormalities and primary school first grade pupils have frequent problems with sensomotoric and graphomotoric ability. In my dissertation I focused on suitability of corrected sitting position as part of complex care for improving ht graphomotoric and sensomotoric ability of selected groups of people. Resolution method: This dissertation was based on work with three groups, each with 10 people (people with Down syndrome, people with infantile cerebral palsy, primary school first grade pupils). For comparison of fine movements I used graphomotoric tests and a computer program Tracking task. Parameters for the test...
Options assessment of stereognostic hand function in children with hemiparetic form of child's cerebral palsy and in relatively healthy children
Hadravová, Vendula ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Novotná, Irena (referee)
Child's cerebral palsy is a neuro-developmental disease, its manifestation is not only a motor deficit, but also often a sensitive deficit. Nevertheless we often meet in the physiotherapy treatment of the Child's cerebral palsy with a solution of motor ability, sensitive deficit is often neglected. Failure of sensitivity to the individuals brings distorted perception of the surroundings and himself. The main component is just stereognosis, which does not inform us only about the properties of the stimuli, but helps us to navigate in the space and aware of the different parts of the body. Goal of the thesis: The goal is to work through several tests to assess the difference of the hand stereognostic function by a group of children with hemiparetic form of the Child's cerebral palsy and a relatively healthy group of children. Stereognosis of right and left hand is separately compared within each group in the results obtained. Both groups are comparing against each other. Another purpose of this work is to make a measurement of the time required to detect its own subject and in both of these groups of children. Equally important purpose is the assessment of usability of Petrie's test with pediatric patiens. Method of the solution: This work includes research, conducted in two groups of children aged between 7...
