Motivation as a leadership
Jaroš, David ; Fiedler, Jiří (advisor) ; Horáková, Jana (referee)
This bachelor thesis is about motivation in terms of its use in the managing of people. This work is divided into two main parts, theoretical and personal research. The first part of this work is focused on the theoretical problems of motivation, its explanation from different views and definitions of all theoretical fields that are related to the process of managing people. In the second part, the problems of motivation are looked at from the practical viewpoint. The goal of the practical part was to find out the value of the motivation process to the subordinate employees from the view of the managers. Based on interviews with several managers, their opinions and personal experiences with the motivation process, that they come across on a daily basis, have been summarised.

Analysis of Economic Indicators of a Company Using Statistical Methods
Dostálová, Petra ; Jaroš, David (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
This thesis focused on the application of statistical methods in the examination and evaluation of economic indicators in the selected company. The basic issues concerning tie series are outlined in the theoretical part and there are basic economic indicators analyzed in the practical one. A target of this thesis is to asses the current financial situation of this company, to predict its future development using the selected statistical methods and to try to suggest a solution to problems and deficiencies that are caused mainly by the economic indicators failing to reach the required values.

Microelectronics Time-Space Authentication Techniques
Jaroš, David ; Burda, Karel (referee) ; Sýkora, Jiří (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
This dissertation work focusses on using information about the location of the user during the authentication process on computer networks. With the growth of mobile computer devices over the last two decades the physical location of users is becoming one of the main issues for access management. This work researches existing solutions which are divided in to two groups related to the source of location information (SATNAV systems for example GPS and based on communication with active infrastructure such as GSM, Wi-Fi). This work shows the methodology for evaluating authentication data which use the principle of fuzzy logic. In comparison with binary logic it is possible to evaluate authentication data accurately. As a result of the authentication process the information is of a higher value, which can be taken into account when setting the levels of user privileges. An important aspect of working with location information is that the user is located in the same place and from where they are asking for access to the system. Solving this question could be linking user biometrics for example finger prints. This principle is used in two types of microelectronic authentication terminals which were developed in conjunction with this work. The first type of terminal uses a SATNAV receiver and an ISM wireless communication module as a source of location information. On the first type of authentication terminal newly developed authentication techniques were tested. The users biometrics are checked by finger print sensor with embedded processing. In the second type authentication terminal a Wi-Fi and GSM module were added for location purposes. In the conclusion of this dissertation the testing methodology of the data authorization and evaluation process of the second type of microelectronic authentication terminal is shown. This confirms the practicality of the suggested methodology and the time-space information in the authentication process.

Views of Haná – Financing of the Project from EU Funds
Aclerová, Veronika ; Jaroš, David (referee) ; Heralecký, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to propose the financing options for the project 'Views of Ha-ná'. The project counts for financing from structural funds of EU primarily. In case the applicant doesn't acquire the requested funds from EU, fund source alternatives are dis-cussed. In the theoretical part of the thesis I deal with the tools and aids of EU in current programme period 2007-2013, the branches of EU and with the village Skalka, which wants to carry out this project.
