Cloud Computing Application Design Patterns
Kolesár, Matej ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This thesis aims to demonstrate available cloud patterns which solve existing problems that are experienced in the cloud environment. Various cloud patterns are first analysed from a high-level view and then further studied on a lower component level. These components and architectures provide certain solutions depending on the use case of the application. A demo application is designed to showcase these design patterns and how they behave. The implementation is done using kubernetes and it is deployed to AWS. The chosen architecture uses microservices. The application consists of 2 designs. The first one shows the AWS advantages and the second one can be deployed on private clouds but also on AWS. At the end, experiments are performed that verify whether the used patterns had the expected results.
Model of Cycling Traffic Intensity in Brno
Use of Data Mining for Payment Identification
Bartoš, Stanislav ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This master thesis concentrates on design and implementation of a system for payment identification, even if the reliable identifier (e.g. variable symbol) is missing. Data mining techniques, such as classification and prediction, were used as a solution to this problem. This master thesis is company assignment for company "Platební instituce Roger a.s.".
Web Application for Creating of Relational Database Schemas
Országh, Roman ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The goal of this work is to make a web application for creating relation database schemas and migration files for PHP framework Laravel. Relation databases can be created by using simple input fields or via pseudo-code, which are then generated into individual files into the Laravel like structure. React.js is used as a front-end of the web application, and PHP Framework Laravel as back-end. The whole application is manageable by simple and intuitive user interface, which contains individual projects which represents database schemas. Created database schemas include all required tables and their defined columns. Web application also offers remote cooperation via web sockets
Book Digitization Management System
Václavek, Lukáš ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on improving and automating the workflow of document digitization for primarily library institutions, but also other organizations. It analyses the processes of digitization in Moravian Library and deals with the development of a web application to optimize this process. The application will allow users to manage the digitization workflow from a simple environment that allows them to control the necessary scripts. The core of the web application is built using the Python programming language and the Django web framework. The work also includes a secondary application that is implemented using the Go programming language due to the emphasis on the speed of their scripts.
Important Entity Recognition in Web Page Text
Svítková, Veronika ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is training named entity recognition model on a dataset created using structured data. Datasets were created from the names of products and books extracted from structured data in JSON-LD and Microdata format. Structured data were extracted from e-shop and social cataloging websites by web scraping. Names were used as a dataset by themselves as well as webpage text with automatically annotated matches of the names. In total eight models in Czech language were trained for recognizing names of products and books using spaCy library. F-score results are up to 89.94 for products and up to 84.26 for books evaluated on a created testing dataset.
Data Extraction from PDF Documents
Bartošák, Michal ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The work focuses on extracting information from medical records saved in PDF format, which were created by heart pacemakers during regular patient monitoring in the hospital. The result of this work is a desktop application written in Java that retrieves and analyzes data from records using PDFBox and pdf2dom libraries. The output of the application is a CSV file, which represents the acquired values in table form, as well as extracted images that are saved to a user-defined output folder. Application testing on records from three different companies proved that record extraction is highly reliable (with overall precision and recall metrics reaching almost 100 % in every test), provided that the application arguments are correctly set.
Automated Processing of PDF Document Contents
Gajdošík, Štefan ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the extraction of data generated by pacemakers. The main content of this thesis is to introduce the PDF document format, tools for working with PDF documents, description of techniques for data extraction, and implementation of an application for automatic data extraction in Python programming language.
System for LoRa Devices Management
Štolfa, Filip ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to simplify the management of IoT devices in the LoRaWAN ecosystem and enable seamless migration between two central LoRaWAN servers. Two LoRaWAN network servers—ChirpStack and TheThingsStack—are described in this thesis. Based on user requirements for a smart city management system an application is designed and implemented that can communicate with these servers and offers users a single interface to manage devices on these servers. The device data is first stored in the application database and then synchronized with the selected LoRaWAN server using the provided application interface. The solution is implemented as a web application using the Angular application framework. The backend is implemented using the Express.js application framework and the AWS Lambda platform.
Web Page Segmentation Methods
Grnáč, Martin ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on segmentation methods. It discusses them at a theoretical level, describes their properties, advantages, and disadvantages. Within the scope of this work, the segmentation method Block-o-Matic was ultimately chosen and implemented within the FitLayout framework. After the implementation, it was evaluated and compared to its reference implementation.
