Application of heat pump
Michal, Petr ; Adam, Pavel (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of bachelor's thesis is to design heating on 2 floors with a heat pump, type soil-water with geothermal borehole. The heat pump is source of heat for heating and warm water too.
Using Low Temperature Energy Sources for Ventilation Systems in Residential Buildings
Adam, Pavel ; Košičanová,, Danica (referee) ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Kabrhel,, Michal (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The theoretical part deals with three “ventilation systems” (VS). The first VS uses a ground/well temperature potential as a energy source for preheating or cooling fresh ventilation air. It was found out that energy savings can be achieved. In the winter, when the air flow volume was considered 150 m3/hr and ground temperature 4 and 8 ° C, the energy savings are in the range of 227-359 kWh. The electricity increase is 6 kWh of energy. In the summer, the energy savings are 17 to 38 kWh, with the electricity increase 8 kWh of energy. The second VS, i.e. system combining ventilation a solar systems, the calculation was carried out in TRNSYS computer program for two objects - a “low-energy house” (LEH) and “two-floor house” (TFH) - and 6 different solar systems modifications. The energy gains at the LEH for the 3 solar modif. are 49, 59 and 46 kWh per year (yearly consumption for heating is 2622 kWh). The energy gains at the TFH for the 3 solar modif. are 86, 134 and 129 kWh (yearly consumption for the heating is 8988 kWh). The third VS is a residential VS with liquid circuit with two compact “heat exchangers” (HE) at the inlet and outlet air. The results shows (compared to VS without heat recovery) that with the air flow volume 150 m3/h the energy savings in the winter are 1761-3148 kWh (16-hour and 24-hour operation mode). The electr. increase is 173 to 262 kWh of energy. In the exp. research the measuring section for the HE measuring was built. Then the conventional materials HE was measured. Is was found out that the selected HE is suitable for installation of the theoretically proposed systems. Its efficiency is in the range 58 - 82 % (with the air flow volume 570-55 m3/h). Measuring section was optimized and measured various hollow fibre HEs. Their efficiency are in the range 38-63 % (with the air flow volume 300-900 m3/h). Results of CO2 measurements shows that CO2 concentration is close to the value of 5000 ppm. It is much higher than max. allowed value 1200
Optimization of the ways of hot water preparation in sports halls
Dvořáková, Simona ; Formánek, Marian (referee) ; Adam, Pavel (advisor)
The topic of this diploma thesis is to design the space and water heating system for a sport hall. The diploma thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter analyzes existing literature with a focus on heat transfer, pipe thermal insulation, hot water source, and existing normative and legislative requirements regarding hot water preparation. The second chapter consists of various calculations that regard the design of radiators, branch dimensioning, and design of water heating system for the target object. Additionally, this chapter contains an elaboration of a design documentation, which Detail Design Documentation. The third chapter focuses on an experimental water heating for the target object with a comparison of a centralized and decentralized water heating system.
Ventilation of wooden apartment building
Fečer, Tomáš ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Adam, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on design of ventilating and air conditioning of wooden apartment building. In theorethical part are discussed types of wooden constructions, then in the next part there is focus on inner elements such as: injurants made from outer and inner environment, calculation of room's thermal load, types of air conditionings, ways of heat obtaining and ending parts of ventilating and air conditioning systems where these elements are influencing a state of internal microclimate of buildings. Practical part is focused on a design of the of ventilating and air conditioning. It consist of a building dissection on functional parts, thermal balances, air flows and an air distribution into individual rooms, a noise absorption and a conduit dimensioning of ventilating and air conditioning. Air flows are designed to meet the criteria of active and recommended standarts of ČR. Air conditioning of the wooden apartment is designed as isobaric mechanical
Energy evaluation of an administrative building
Stadtherr, Jan ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Adam, Pavel (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the energy assessment of an administrative building. The theoretical part is devoted to legislation for energy assessment – law, regulations and technical standards. The application of this legislation is provided in the calculation part as energy audit and energy performance certificate of the administrative building. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to application of computational softwares for analysing results of heat consumption in comparison with reality.
Energetic evaluation of civil buildings
Pliska, Roman ; Adam, Pavel (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The first section of this thesis describes possible energy savings in family houses. Subsequently, possible energy savings are applied to, and a system revision is presented for, an office building, along with a calculation of the return on investment for the described variant based on notice 480/2012 Sb. The final section focuses on the measurement of the indoor environment at an administrative building (CO2, air temperature, relative humidity) and their assessment according to the current legislation.
Heating system for residential buildings
Mrva, Jan ; Adam, Pavel (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
Teoretical part includes analysis of heating systems for family houses. Practial part includes design of floor heating system and preparation of warm water with solar collectors.
Design of apartment building heating
Macek, Jiří ; Adam, Pavel (referee) ; Maurerová, Lenka (advisor)
This bachelor works deals coucerned with design of heating in the residential house. The object has basement and three floors. In each floor there are two residentail units. The object is heated by means of panel and tubular heaters. The heat source (gas condensing boiler) is located in a technical room
Ventilation in kindergarten
Müller, Jan ; Adam, Pavel (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is developed for the design of air conditioning equipment for kindergartens in Kuřim. The specified object is designed hot-air heating, hot-air ventilation and natural ventilation space. The theoretical part focuses on the comparison of natural and forced ventilation. Project part project has developed to implement the air conditioning equipment for kindergartens departments, two modular units for forced ventilation of kitchens and assessment of natural ventilation in the social and sanitary facilities kindergarten.
