QR and barcodes
Walter, Viktor ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Franek, Lešek (advisor)
The focus of this bachelor thesis is identification of devices in smart grids by barcodes and QR codes. It contains description of symbologies of these graphic codes and tests their characteristics in reading, with an application, developed as a part of this thesis. Thesis contains recommendations and suggestions for physical identification of devices, based on theoretical knowledge and observations made by testing. Included application is also capable of registering devices on their installation.
Information system for energy meters
Magic, Filip ; Mišík, Štefan (referee) ; Franek, Lešek (advisor)
The aim of the Bachelor Thesis is to design and develop an information system for processing data from energy meters. First part of the thesis is devoted to the principles of smart grids. In the next part are described web technologies necessary for the development of SOAP server and information system. Furthermore is presented the proposal and development of the SOAP server. In these chapters are created use case diagrams and the data model. For the information system development was used PHP framework Nette and PostgreSQL database.
Automatic robot manipulation station
Bukovský, Pavel ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the design of a robotic automated workstation for composing eco-briquettes packages on pallets; futher the calculations of consumption workplace, implementation costs, and return on investment. In the practical part of the thesis the calculations of the diameter of the cable and fuse, electronic documentation, communication between the different elements of the workplace program for controlling motors, valves and sensors and their use in developing CFC programs is then solved. Further the work will focus on faceplate design to control the motors, valves and sensors using the control panel and draft control with it.
Simulator and client for MODBUS devices
Ondrášek, Michael ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with communication protocol MODBUS. The properties of the protocol and its function are described at the beginning of a thesis. There are designed two applications on the basis of identified properties in the other part of thesis, they represent the server part and the client´s part. The server part is implemented by selected functions of protocol and it represents devices for data collection. The next part is the detailed design of applications and the description of their realization. The last part deals with testing of designed applications with available SW simulators. The thesis deals also with user manual for control of created applications.
Bridge type of track shifter
Holomek, David ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis contains a description of a bridge type track shifter model, with the introduction including an analysis of the whole work. The first task describes the look and layout of individual parts of the track shifter model. There is also a description of the AS-Interface database, as well as a section with representations of the sensors and actuators of the track shifter. The fifth part describes the PLC software configuration, and is followed by a section dealing with the errors found in the AS- Interface database. After a description of the track shifter’s control program, the seventh section underlines the visualization aspect of the track shifter model. The final section includes samples of laboratory tasks.
SW for control tests and generating reports
Dočkal, Michal ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Franek, Lešek (advisor)
The content of this work is the development of an application that serves as a graphical interface for running tests and generating reports. At first is marginally analyzed the process of measuring and recording, then the technology used in the development is described. As next, suitable implementations is proposed. Finally createed application is described, including outlining possibilities for further development.
SW for access panel of data concentrator
Kováč, Jakub ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Šťastný, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of this work is design the software for operating panel of data concentrator. The work shows serial communication between human-machine interface and data concentrator. There are designed the communications protocol and graphical interface for device. Consequently is shown design of algorithm of control application. The algorithm is designed in view of battery supply by using of Low-power modes.
Water Monitoring System for Buildings
Malík, Lukáš ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis designes and realises microcontroller of regulated system for the state monitoring of water pipelines in a building. Demands for the system are listed in introduction. The main part of this work focuses on theory of monitoring systems, additionally it concentrates on design of conception and circuit boards for system. After this the production of electronic circuit boards is performed including the assembly of components onto the board. Controlling of the system is provided by Atmel microcontroller. Significant portion of this work is creation of complex program. At last but not least, functionality of the system is tested and assessed.
Token based authentication
Loviška, Martin ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Franek, Lešek (advisor)
Thesis is dealing with possibilities of user authentication using a security token to Linux console and web applications. Theoretical part of this work is devoted to cryptography basics, particularly asymmetric cryptography algorithms . Thesis generally describes aut- hentication methods and includes a brief categorization of smart card devices. The practi- cal part deals with SmartCard - HSM device setup for a client and creating own certificate authority using this device. Finally, it presents a demonstration deploying smart card login to Linux and web applications using tokens.
Robotic Video Camera Control Using Beaglebone
Chmelař, Jakub ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes HW and SW equipment of the development board BeagleBone Black and its AM3358 processor. The processor integrates two programmable support units for real time control. This work provides detailed overview of the development board and the support units control possibilities. It includes description of principles of the support units usage and definition of Device Tree configuration file. Purpose of the work is to create SW and HW equipment for the model of robotic camera. This work also describes DPS design and program equipment for stepper motor control using the support units of the AM3358 processor.
