This bachelor's work deals with the assessment of the economic indicators of Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak, s.r.o." using statistical and financial analysis methods. A quality assessment of the operation of the selected business is carried out in the thesis, the findings of the draft measures should improve its economic situation. Methods and tools for analyzing the business will be discussed both theoretically and practically. The conclusion of the thesis will give a full overview of the financial situation of the business.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the financial analysis of ABB s. r. o company by using statistical methods. The thesis consists of two main parts. The main purpose of the first part is the describing of individually economic indicators of the company and regressive analysis with the time series. The second part includes the financial analysis and the prediction of further development for the company. As the conclusion of these two parts, there is suggested recommendations for improving the financial situation in the future.

Diploma thesis deals with the financial analysis of a banking entity operating in Czech Republic and the analysis of time series of selected indicators. The first part gives methodology of the work and theoretical bases for processing financial analysis and time series. The second practical part consists of analysis itself. Based on the results, the state of banking company is evaluated in the final part and the possibilities and proposal are introduced for entity operating in the banking market.

Experimental Use Of Novel Pulse Generator For Irreversible Electroporation

Irreversible electroporation (IRE) is a relatively new technique for minimal invasive nonthermal ablation treatment of solid tumors. This article describes basics of IRE and available devices for this technique. The parameters of commercial NanoKnife IRE generator are verified and the unique experimental IRE generator developed at the Brno University of Technology is presented in this paper. Further, there is a comparison of thermal effects on a target tissue of commonly used radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and the novel IRE generator using an infrared camera. All experiments were performed ex vivo on a porcine liver. The difference in maximum temperature between the output powers used was 17.8 °C with RFA and 3 °C with IRE. This is a significant difference and shows the IRE’s capability of liver tissue ablation without thermal damage. The new IRE generator is also capable of replacing NanoKnife because of its features and versatility.

Assessment of Selected Indicators of a Company Using Statistical Methods

Master’s thesis is aimed at assessing the selected financial indicators of the company using statistical methods. Based on the results, the current situation of the company is evaluated. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part contains the necessary theoretical bases for processing the analytical part. The second part is devoted to the analysis of selected indicators, which are then applied statistical methods to the prediction of the future development of these indicators and findings, here between these indicators there is a dependence. At the end of this part, there is an evaluation of the analyzed indicators. The third part presents appropriate proposals for solutions to existing problems caused by indicators that deviate from the recommended values.

Master´s thesis deals with the assessment of selected financial indicators of the company using a statistical methods. The first part is focused on the theoretical description of financial indicators, time series analysis as well as regression and correlation analysis. The practical part contains a statistical analysis of selected indicators with subsequent prediction of indicators for the next two years. The practical part also contains a comparison of selected indicators with the industry average and a correlation analysis to determine the dependence of selected indicators. The last part contains suggestions to improve the situation of the company.
